Travelling through space, they looked out at what was below them. The planet was far away now and there was no guarantee that they might ever be able to return. Perhaps they were destined to live amongst the stars. They would become the aliens they once feared as they floated from realm to realm in the darkness.

There wasn't much light up here, nor sound but for the occasional chime or hum from the machine which propelled them onwards. Sometimes it were as if it was trying to communicate with them, perhaps to let them know that they were not all alone.

Terra Magica Rec. are set to release a record from Grischerr called 'Blue Gem Cavalcade'. It's a special, pensive collection of deep futuristic sounds paired with remixes from some stellar producers. The Heap remix was our pick of the bunch.

There's a lot packed into these 4 tracks, as the record spins full circle emitting sonic intricacy for both the mind and the floors. Right away, vividly soothing and atmospheric hybrids of downtempo breakbeat electronica with a bit of ambient techno personality blissfully charm the experiences on Concept 1 and 2, while the B side extends the cosmic joyride with the soul permeating chords and therapeutic electro of Concept 3; and of course there is fun where there is mystery, hence a 909 and ambient house flavoured remix of the third Concept from the always impressive yet very elusive Convextion aka E.R.P.

Hilltown Disco welcome's the excellent Luxus Varta to the label for the effective and powerful 'Retrofiction' EP.

A record with layers of intelligence and emotional synth work-outs. The sounds range from a melancholic A-side, touching on wave with more disturbed vocals on the B-side, all crafted with a woven spine of electro with serious pulsing basslines. In a fusion of science and sound, Kalocain's debut vinyl release, "Genetic Memory," unfolds an eerie tale. "W.N.G." opens a portal to an ancient world, where forgotten tongues unveil cryptic secrets. "Genetic Memory" weaves ethereal connections between ancestral recollections and the present, warping the fabric of time. "Ivermectin" delves into the surreal realms of molecular melodies, as if sonic DNA deciphers sound's enigmas. Remixes from Normal 4, Patricia Kokett, and Jacques Satre reshape the auditory cosmos with a dash of the bizarre.

To amplify the weirdness, Evaldas Bubinas aka Hermandrowning, concocts mind-bending artwork, beckoning listeners into a realm where sound and art meld in uncanny harmony.

Offering a wide range of sounds from uptempo half-beat to raw, energetic techno-trance, inviting you into a mesmerizing sci-fi universe. As the night drew close, they hopped into the car and began to drive. They were headed north, in the search of flickering stars which would dance in a euphoric ultraviolet haze and shine bright against the deep black backdrop which might one day swallow them hole.

They were all sat quietly as they waited for the darkness to fall, in the meantime they drove slowly on.

Mattias El Mansouri is set to release a new EP via the ever excellent Aniara - utilising perfectly emotive pads alongside deep rolling percussion to create atmospheric House come Techno.
