W133 is excited to welcome Tørrid to the label. The emerging Nürnberg-based artist and passionate drummer presents his „Broken Dreams“ EP, showcasing his deep love for percussion and rhythm.
This release marks a shift in his sound, focusing more on experimental and percussive elements. The EP opens with Brain Damage, a mind-bending acid-influenced track, with swirling sounds that twist and weave in unexpected directions. The second track, „Essauira 2“, picks up the percussive groove of the opener, gradually introducing a haunting synth line that adds a sense of eerie tension. „No Puppy“ follows, with its melancholic pads creeping in softly, creating an emotionally rich atmosphere. It takes a slightly slower pace, presenting a rolling, jungle-infused rhythm that transitions into a beautiful sequence of melancholic polyphonic arps. The EP concludes with „Bad Girl“, the fastest and most energetic of the four. It features jazzy, dreamy chords and a dynamic jungle beat, bringing a vibrant finish to the release.

For the first time ever, Berlin-based producers DJ Spit and Mathis Ruffing link up for a 4 track collaboration. Tekky, bass-heavy and built for sweaty floors, these cuts channel the pulse of the two like minded heads and push club systems to their limit.

Gamma Intel returns to Nerve Collect with four tracks of electrically charged bass, techno and broken beats. His Time Loop EP explores a range of rhythms and tempos aimed squarely at the floor.

Nerve Collect co-founder Gamma Intel is Dutchman Laurens van de Werken. He has always worked at the intersection of several different sounds, even as his references have evolved from chugging techno to deconstructed jungle. A unifying theme is this meticulous sound design: it's leftfield and experimental but underpinned by irresistible rhythms while his synths are so tactile you could almost reach out and grab them. His latest studio adventures mark another subtle shift across four hard-to-define and otherworldly transmissions sent back from the future.

‘Construct’ crackles with paranoid urgency driven by underlapping drums that push a cantering rhythm. Fragmented vocal chops and fuzzy, static-laced synths swirl throughout the mix to create a vortex of controlled chaos. Eerie breakdowns offer fleeting breaths, but the creeping tension of surveillance never fully releases before the disorienting momentum draws you back in. ‘Node’ feels like a computer meltdown fused with a floating, dub-inflected and steppy rhythm. Snares flutter up top as frothing synths and warped bass bring the pressure. The final touch is human vocals, decayed by signal inference, which melt into percussive loops and echo about the mix. 

‘Cycle’ takes a more muscular approach. The oversized drums and hits engage in battle with a snaking lead as a backlit glow consumes both to provide for a moment of human beauty that contrasts with the stark machine warfare around it. ‘Lever’ dives into deep dubstep madness, its full-bodied waves lurching like a storm-tossed ocean. Intricate details like distant sirens, flickering streetlights and mutant sine waves fill the stereo field and, paired with the unstoppable rhythmic force, hypnotise body and mind. 

Gamma Intel's Time Loop EP is a masterclass in tension, texture and momentum that pushes club music into uncharted territory, keeps the body moving and the imagination fully engaged.

This VA brings together electronic artists from around the world, united in solidarity with the people of Gaza. In the face of silence and inaction from our governments, we believe it’s our responsibility, as artists and human beings, to contribute however we can.

SawtPalestine is an independent association founded by Ahmed Jome, a Palestinian based in Marseille, with the mission of building a bridge between Gaza and the World. Their work focuses on supporting orphans and displaced families in Gaza, especially those with no contact or aid from the outside.
On the ground, a local team operates daily to provide direct financial, emotional, and recreational support to children and families in need. Long-term, SawtPalestine aims to build an orphanage.

Since its creation, the association has also launched a traveling Palestinian kitchen, collaborated with activist networks and artists from different fields, and organized events to raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Tørrid – Vinyl Only und tiefgreifender Techno

Tørrid steht für präzisen, tiefgreifenden Techno und eine Leidenschaft für den Vinyl-Sound. Seit seinem Einstieg in die elektronische Musik im Jahr 2018 hat er sich kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und ist zu einer festen Größe in der Szene geworden.

Sein erster Release erschien 2020 auf SMR Underground (damals noch unter anderem Namen). In den Jahren 2021 und 2022 folgten eigenständige Veröffentlichungen auf Bandcamp. Seit 2023 hat sich Tørrid ganz dem Vinyl Only verschrieben, was seine tiefgehende Verbundenheit zur analogen Klangwelt unterstreicht.

Tørrid hat bereits in bekannten Locations wie dem Z-Bau Nürnberg, Haus 33 Nürnberg, URVB Düsseldorf und der Kulturkellerei Nürnberg aufgelegt. Er teilte die Bühne mit namhaften Künstlern wie SLIN, Yant, Kaiser und Egotot, was seine Vielseitigkeit und sein Talent unterstreicht.

Musikalisch deckt Tørrid ein breites Spektrum ab: von Hypnotic und Detroit Techno über Dub Techno bis hin zu Breakbeat. Seine Sets sind tief gehend und voller Atmosphäre – ein Erlebnis, das die Tanzfläche in einen pulsierenden Mikrokosmos verwandelt.
