The title track follows and continues the deep melodic adventure with chopped beats and soaring pads and delicate keys that slowly work their way into your brain before this excellent EP ends on the oldskool inspired Velvet Horizon where more exquisitely chopped breakbeats are punctuated by serene chord stab and twinkles of tranquil synths. Info: We're delighted to announce that on his Stimulation EP, Uneven is taking his production style from the 2024 Density EP to new heights. The four drum and bass tunes are just right, with a nice mix of militant breakbeats, aggressive subs and expansive soundscapes. While 'Brutalism' echoes on concrete, 'Underscore' marches to its own drumbeat. Almanac maintains the energy levels, and the title track brings the EP to a close in madness.

This is the second album sampler taken from the forthcoming 'Circadian Rhythms' LP by Kolectiv, offering a glimpse of the full 18-track journey.

Conceived as more than just a collection of tunes, the record unfolds like a night at a Drum & Bass rave. It begins with the first bassline pulling you in, builds into full peak-time intensity, and closes with reflective sounds that carry you home.

Written in the wake of the pandemic, 'Circadian Rhythms' stands as both a rebirth and a tribute to the culture that shaped Kolectiv. Much of the project was created from scratch, with the duo recording live drums, keys, and guitars, then weaving them together with original sound design. Carefully selected vocal collaborations bring depth and emotion, while atmospheric interludes give the album a cinematic flow from start to finish.

Mixed down in their newly upgraded studio, the LP balances technical precision with heartfelt expression. It is a journey, a statement, and a love letter to Drum & Bass in all its shades. The full project also features standout vocal work from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika, and Kerry Donnelly.

Park Shadow is the project of Finnish producer Joonas Lehtinen, a figure whose roots stretch back to the late '90s tracker era. A very personal vision of drum and bass, this project reflects a balance between natural formlessness and urban grit.

With previous releases across the scene, Park Shadow arrives on Metalheadz with the 'Altitudez EP'. Goldie's interest in the title track set the course for an EP that draws on the roots of jungle and drum & bass while exploring its outer edges.

Across its four tracks, the EP unfolds as a journey - beginning in foggy melancholy, shifting into bittersweet, rave-charged energy, rising toward brighter, more uplifting tones and closing with an almost dreamlike sense of release. Breakbeat-heavy throughout, the 'Altitudez EP' is a release that carries the spirit of jungle into new terrain.
