Survivor ~ Track 5 ~ The Fall

What began as fragments becomes visceral as the protagonist's emotional walls finally crack. This is the film's emotional nadir - the moment where the full horror of what he witnessed and lost settles into him.

I wanted this scene to breathe. Just the protagonist, alone in his ship, collapsing under the weight of grief. I used orchestral strings almost exclusively here, because sometimes grief demands that raw, human quality. The theme stretches out, dwelling in the sadness without rushing forward.
