For this edition of Korekast I am pleased to hand over the controls over to Emily Knight, resident for 'House of Tech' and 'Intermix'. 

Emily is a minimal & techno DJ and resident for the well-known Leeds brand House of Tech. She has made rapid progress in the scene, playing in clubs across the country and supporting huge artists such as Dan Ghenacia, Hot Since 82, Seb Zito and more. Her intense passion for music is reflected in her variety of mixes which span all sub-genres of house and techno and can include sounds such as underground rominimal, sharp electro and old school hardcore.

Only 21 years old but allready part of the Vander artist roster.

First approach to the sounds of electronic music occurred at the age of 15, and in 2018 he began his career. Influenced by DVS1, Regis, Surgeon and Oscar Mulero, among others, their sound is differentiated by possessing a heavy groove, aggressive rhythms and tense melodies.  

But enough talking. Time for music.

None other than the legend Mol is here to close 2020, as well as our Emergency Podcast series, in true style, with an old-school vinyl set full of early tracks from 1993 to 2005.
 
This full-on vinyljunkie has been murdering dancefloors, warehouses & raves since 1993 with his spot-on, versatile sets and Early sounds.
It’s safe to say Mol has been living and breathing hardcore since the beginning of hardcore in The Netherlands.
 
Mol is a resident at Underground House Movement and has played a shitload of sets at legendary events like Raving Nightmare.
He’s been operating as a solo DJ but also as a duo under the alias of Early Bastards alongside another legend in the scene, DJ Potato.
 
We’re very happy and honored that Mol came through and provided us with this 2,5 hour long old-school vinyl special.
 
Lastly we would like to thank DØEMP, Wanton, ABSNTMNDED, 1 X 1 X, PLEXØS and Vendex for swinging by and dropping some bombshells at our monthly podcast series.

Sound Abuse is the hardcore alias of Dennis & Casper Cardella. The main focus of this project has always been hardcore in its darkest form. 

In 2003 the first three official Sound Abuse tracks where released on the Darkcore CD ‘Hellraiser – Protect your soul’. This launched their career and was the first of many other compilations like Masters of Hardcore, Thunderdome, and Project Hardcore. In 2010 the first Sound Abuse EP ‘Serious Issues’ was released on DNA Records. 

But it was time for something new so they joined the infamous Dark Descent crew.  This meant they could experiment more and develop a more diverse style.  From slow rotten doomcore to industrial techno and uptempo hardcore.... ‘Inner strength’ and ‘A Decade’ are Sound Abuse releases not to be missed. In this period they also did remixes for Dark Like Hell, Zanthrax, Negative A and ofcourse the oldschool classic Human Resource – Dominator.
 
Sound Abuse performed on several international underground parties. They played on Megarave, Into The Dark Lands and NORAD more than once. Their DJ sets and podcasts are well known for their dark and industrial sounds.
