Eventually, our virtuosos, Daniel Jaeger (Criminal Bassline, Get Physical, Katermukke) and Electronic Elephant (Station Endlos, Bordel des Arts, Bar 25 Music) got their hands on the decks too... And so a very special, spontaneous B2B session came to life for the Pirates of Utopia! This is a 2-hour cut from their longer set. Ahoyyy! Enjoy ;)

Nowhere People (Blaufield Music, Rural Records) is quite a familiar name for those who attend Sound of Utopia's events. For us, it's no surprise, that each time he gets on the decks, he sets the dance floor on fire :) We hear that he's been quite productive during Corona times,  finishing numerous new tracks. And so, he recorded this full live set over Ableton for UTOPIACAST, showcasing his moslty unreleased gems. 

In addition to Sound of Utopia, Nowhere People is a resident at Kater Blau's Slaves of Discotheque, and regularly plays at Berlin's top circuits such as Sisyphos. Can't wait to be back on the dancefloor with you Cenk!

Once again, @sound_of_utopia Festival in Türkiye was an inspiring and magical experience. Reconnecting with this beautiful community and creating amazing moments is always pure magic 🪄.

I want to extend a big thank you to the entire team behind this festival for making it happen. And of course, immense gratitude to all the artists who shared their sound and message in such a free and open way, making this festival truly special.

From being surrounded by pure nature to teaching a massage workshop, dancing, and performing with the incredible musician Orak Ekinci on Sunday in one of the most beautiful locations I've ever played. Becoming a dad a year ago meant I almost had to stop playing and traveling (hopefully, that’ll change soon). Playing less has given each set a unique vibe. Now, I get to take “luxuries” like breaking away from a straight line in my sound. That’s why what happened at Utopia feels so special. I started my set with one idea, which evolved as I went, leading to an impromptu moment with the incredible Cook Strummer singing his track and closing with an explosion of disco and house.

The set is now live for curious ears. 🎶

He is the owner of Zaijen-roots record label, as well as one of the artists behind the anonymous MASK (MSK BERLIN) vinyl imprint. Legends say, that he is a Zen master; that he had a residency at Tresor; and that he played at all major Berlin Clubs, but changed his artist name numerous times for the sake of anonymity... Apoena is a vinyl industry House artist from Brazil. His tracks are played by DJs such as Derrick May and Laurent Garnier, just to name a few. Apoena is mostly recognized by veteran DJs and that says a lot about the characteristic of his sound, usually pointing in an old-school direction... We've met Apoena when he mixed up the club he wanted to go and mistakenly ended up in one of our parties in Berlin :D Since then he became an integral part of Sound of Utopia crew... This vinyl only, classical house set he curated for UTOPIACAST's 4th edition isn't the typical sound we're accustomed to hear from him on the dance floor, but hints at his roots and inspirations... This was definitely one of our favourite sets from the Dream of Utopia Festival (Secret Beach, Mediterranean Coast, Turkey), played by one and only Nader, during early morning hours of Saturday October 3rd, 2020.  

From Switzerland, Nader started DJing in 1994 and playing live electronic music in 1998. Also a producer of not only electronic music but also soundtracks, Nader’s musical style is generally based on minimal beats, Techno, or Tech House, with some elements of Dub, Melodic or even Pop. Moods range from sweet, sexy, to dark and underground.

Recorded spontaneously during a secret NYE 2021 party we hosted, this energetic set also features some anthems of Dream of Utopia Festival 2020 that will surely take our fellow utopians back to those euphoric nights we've had together, back in October...

Originally from South of France, Joséphine is navigating between Istanbul and Dubai, where she is one of the founders, resident Dj and creative director of the infamous Deep Like events. She played at major clubs all around the world, such as Kater Blau in Berlin, Hive in Zurich and Klein in Istanbul...

Stars were there, and also were the full moon and the sea... It was a magical night during Dream of Utopia Festival (Secret Beach, Mediterranean Coast, Turkey)... 

And so Mr. Christ Burstein, A.K.A. Los Cabra (Stil Vor Talent, Get Physical) and Marvin Jam (Kater Blau, Sunday Drivers) did their magic, too...
