Ok, 12th EP release. A very special release. "Why", you ask? Well... THIS IS SOUND & MOTION'S THIRD ANNIVERSARY! THREE FUCKING YEARS!!! So, let's celebrate with a release from the "Speakerheads" themselves, Armida and YetTken, also known as Sound & Motion.

On this 3 years of Sound & Motion, a lot of things have changed. The "only experimental and dark sounds" policy has been politely FUCKED TO DEATH. This happened for the sake of music and the always moving times. Also Sound & Motion changed their musical style on the way, now embracing not only Techno and Minimal, but also Deep House, Tech-House and even Acid.

You will definitely know this when you listen to this release. This time, the "Speakerheads" decided to leave minimalistic Techno behind to work on a different style, creating six tracks that are really hard to catalogue and sound unique. We might never listen to this sound again (since they'll be once more focusing on Techno after this). While making this EP, the guys also made a little story titled "Patient #0072", about a guy who scapes from a psychiatric hospital to unleash his madness into a world that's definitely not what it seems. And this release showcases that madness.

The first track, titled "I'll Stop Doing Drugs", features RealiTVersion and brings him back once more. A looping pad starts playing and builds up until the bass hits and then, slowly, the desperation turns into a warm, deep feeling with the keys. Later some bongos make you dance until the fading random sounds lead us into a "Lovely Day", a mellow broken piano melody created as an interlude before "... And Then The Zombie Apocalypse" plays. Madness and desperation once more, with some tight drums, a repetitive bassline and micro percusions that makes us fall into the spiral of mental illness with the bizarre synth used on the climax of the track.

Then, payback comes with "Alpaca With Machete Saves The Day", a Nu-Disco-ish track that slowly builds with a funky yet simple bassline and latin percusions before a filtered pad makes you jump and dance. Then, the disharmonic strings create a tense atmosphere before the pad hits again and loop while some hats give the groove to make you jump and slowdance.

Afterwards, "Delusional Dreams (Speakerheads and Back To Meds)" plays as a slow jam, one of the most eclectic tracks by Sound & Motion. Some freaky space pads and keys with a deep, acidic bass shows up and makes you dance with it's lovely lead.

Finally, "double0seventy2japan" closes the the EP. A little Deep House track with reverb hats, a groovy bassline, housey lead and an incredible pad giving us a warm, deep and awesome atmosphere from start to end.

And with this, we stop the bla bla bla. Hope you have enjoyed this three years.. And prepare yourself for the fourth aniversary!

Ready for another Sound and Motion release? We know you are! This will be the last release of 2012, so we need to celebrate "a lo grande"! And what's better than presenting you a new artist (No, seriously, what's better? We can't think of something better than this)?!

Meet Blastculture, from Italy! He has released stuff on well-known netlabels like Deep-X Recordings, Ephedrina, Krata and Noisybeat. This is his first release on Sound & Motion. And oh God, what a release!

The first track is "Schizophrenic Poem" and it's a banging analogical minimal techno with some lovely percussions and a lot of reeverb on it. Nice closed hats, dark basspad, stabs and snare fills which just accentuate the pitched down vocal sample. Simple, yet so awesome!

Then, "Brown Shading Off Into Pink" gives us another analogical journey through sound, but instead of the previous grooves, we have an uneasy listening dance track. Madness, desperation and sadness are the main topics that stand upon darkness.

With this we say goodbye to 2012. It has been an amazing year for us. We'd like to thank everyone that stayed with us throughout all these years. To Techno-Locator crew, Netlabels & News crew, Netwaves and Netwaves.bpm crew, Blockquote radioshow crew, DS (DJs In Sivar) and Sivar Stage crew: Thank you so freakin' much! Three years seems to be so little, yet so long. Also we'd love to thank the amazing artists that made this and previous releases possible. We love you guys.

Finally but even most important, we'd LOVE to thank you, the fans! Without you, we couldn't make it. Thank you for supporting us (and staying with us) all these years. We know we take a lot of pauses and we don't release a lot of tracks, but hey! When we release something, it'll be QUALITY, not quantity, so be sure we'll come back in 2013 with incredible tracks, more Netlabeler Podcasts and even more (dramatic sound)...

Ok, 2013 here we come!

Time for our 14th EP release! And this time, we'd like to welcome back a great producer: Julian Dep.

You might remember Julian from our first LP titled So Far, on which he collaborated with the track "Synth". Perhaps the name is simple, but that track is one of those unexpected composition jewels you rarely find on Electronic & Dance music. It had everything you wanted to: A great kick, a good bass and some actual melodies! Those plucks and keys are awesome and we fell in love with it since the first time we listened.

But that was 2011. We had a little (well, not that little) break on SOMO later that year, and we lost contact with Julian. But on october 2012, while creating our (awesome as hell) DJ mix for Techno-Locator.ru we decided to play "Synth" as the first track of it. We contacted Julian just to let him know and, even though we didn't expect any , we got a reply. And it was a great reply!

We talked, we enjoyed the conversations and we finally got the pleasure of getting more tracks from him! So, ladies and gentlemen, here you have one of the finest releases of Sound & Motion, all the way from Argentina: Thalion.
