He says: "I wrote the music some time back, kind of an R&B-Soul thing. Then I was listening to a lot of Free and - specifically - Paul Kossoff whose style is liquid (best way I can describe it). After listening the "Molten Gold" - a song from Koss's solo LP "Back Street Crawler" and I kind of felt that I had to blend the idea. So the title and the melody, etc. are a nod to Koss and "Molten Gold", enjoy it."

Sound Animal, a fellow admirer of Koss, added vocalization to enhance it as a collab and uploaded it with permission.

Steve Gilmartin came over to jam with his bluesy electric guitar, with on my Peavy modeling amp while I played bass. He called the cat horror theme.

After I sent him the preliminary modifications of our playing as a foundation, he, after doing some unbiased research, emphatically stated that the title wording and substance should of an all out attack by cat zombies be as scary as possible. 

On Halloween, I made it so. 

I added many layers of synth, screams, effects, and darkness.

This instrumental piece began as part of a joyful jam with XAW and SA, while XAW played electric guitar and Helix and SA played a series of handheld instruments: Greek double shepherd's flute, silver flute, penny whistle, boatswain's whistle, slide whistle, wooden recorder, Suling, crotales, triangle, cymbal. 

SA later added keyboard-percussion and produced.

An intense experimental ambient meditative journey through the self's interactions, patterns, emanations, illusions, masks, tricks, tests, wounds, continuities and discontinuities, surprises, empathies, and empty opens.

This began as part of a jam with XAW playing drums and SA playing guitar. SA added layers of keyboards, harmonica and melodica, produced.

Breathless

The interminably long hypnotic voyage of the Spanish galleons across the ocean, which is often frozen, and which sometimes can be traversed through the air when the galleon opens its peacock wings. 

The aurora australis, the wafting of the song of the captain's daughter wondering if he loves her, since he's been gone so long and now he's gone again, for so long, so long. He's on the harrowing, death defying trip to support his daughter, though she hasn't developed the maturity to fully understand that. But will he bring her a crystal replica of the galleon as a token of his affection, so she can believe he loves her?

The men all nearly die, embedded in ice on their trip for unspeakable purposes. 

When the tattered fleet pulls into the marina, the daughter waits for the crystal galleon. When she sees he has it, she believes he loves her after all.
