This is a real rarity - the cassette with early and unreleased tracks of Alexey Filin, recorded in 2000, before the joint project DP-6 with Vadim Indigo. This music was inspired by the exuberant energy of techno and electro and adhered to strict minimalism. In each of the 16 tracks it tells about the atmosphere of dusty, industrial city, its factories and rhythms of the machines.

Madloch's Crossfade Sounds welcomes Dott. Santafeo back to the label for the seocnd remix sampler of his debut album that got released last year "Basileo Regolo Re Di Biss". For the remixes Konomo,LLLIT, Noosa Sound System and Ciornei got invited. Leonardo Patrizi aka Dott. Santafeo is a DJ, producer, live performer and sound designer. Perhaps best known for his deep and dubby take on techno, the Civita Castellana resident has never been an artist bound by traditional genre classifications, having freely experimented with many different forms of electronic music along the way. Having first emerged in 2020 with an EP via Organica Sound, Dott. Santafeo was then quickly regarded for his dubbed out beats, glacial designs and evolving atmospheric storyboards. Projects for Apnea Label, ChessBoard Music, Sense Label, Zero Signal Records and more followed across the next calendar year, further establishing Dott as a rising talent. Also a highly regarded DJ, the Italian has been a fixture of his country's nightlife for the last decade, delighting crowds at some of the country's trendiest venues, while still choosing vinyl as the primary means to translate his message to the dance floor.

The notes of a shared view of sound discourse formed the basis of this hazy illustration. Despite the apparent blurriness, it combines saturated deep techno loops and a particularly lively, albeit dreary dub. Transparent, stylish hi-hats and analogue crackles keep pace with swirling effects similar to nocturnal stridulation. Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer Madloch, Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond  between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.   

Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.   

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt. 
 
Sound Avenue carefully curates each release to move their vision forward, building a close-knit family of scene veterans, while nurturing new talents such as Agustin Basulto, Giddyhead, Lucefora and Nicolas Rada. It’s this cohesive blend which has made the label bold, innovative and a standout in their field. With their finger firmly on the pulse of an ever evolving marketplace, it has been Sound Avenue’s foresight which has allowed them to adapt to this shifting landscape, while continuing to build their fanbase globally.
