Amulanga is welcoming on board talented DJ/Producer Arina Mur. Arina does not need much introduction. As an artist, she's been making waves in the ocean of organic house for quite some time. With releases on such labels as Anjunadeep, Truesound Music, Seven Villas, and Akbal, and with support from leading artists like Lee Burridge, Nick Warren, Tim Green, Gorje Hewek, and Izhevski, Arina has established herself as a producer with a unique well-recognized signature sound.

Her first debut on Amulanga includes two amazing tunes inspired by her recent gig in Sri Lanka. Hot sand, invigorating waves, green landscapes, and incredible sunsets, delight and gratitude from being in a place for the first time turned into this beautiful EP "Unfinished Tales."

Opening the month of July, Madloch’s Sound Avenue welcomes Domingo + back to the label for a new EP. Formerly one half of the Mariner + Domingo duo, American artist Chris Domingo has compiled an impressive resume across a two-year stretch. Upon making his debut on Balkan Connection in July of 2020, the Florida resident went on a remarkable run, landing releases via 3rd Avenue, Proton Music, RYNTH and The Purr. Perhaps his most comfortable landing spot was Madloch's long-standing Sound Avenue imprint, where Mariner + Domingo released ten originals across ten months, none more impactful than 'Another Life' and 'Inertia', which earned play and support from Lee Burridge, Tim Green and Sebastien Leger. 2022 marked Chris’ beginnings as a solo artist, with the freshly coined Domingo + alias. The Florida resident got the year underway with his latest Sound Avenue vehicle ‘Hardway’, a two-track showcase which set the course for what has been a prolific six months. Now on the strength of a remix for label affiliate 3rd Avenue, Domingo + returns to his comfortable home of Sound Avenue with ‘Just Drive’. 

Picking up on the themes he brought to ‘Hardway’, Chris has created three new tracks rich with spirit and allusion. Beginning with the creamy tonal textures and mallet-like clusters of ‘Just Drive', an unexpected mood is revealed through haunted phrasing and celestial sonics. Evoking a bucolic style ecstasy, this rolling piece eventually breaks into a groovy mediative finale, one that is sure to lift the mood of your dance floor.

Moving forward with 'Light & Sound', Domingo + sustains an understated yet confident club energy. Fluttery drum arrangements and voluptuous bass lines set the course for oriental motifs and hopeful voices. Panoramic sequences and timely drum flurries provide a brief but timely interlude, before breaking off into a rush of clattering percussion and rolling rhythmic structures.

More enigmatic yet is the EPs closer 'Tribal Call', a creation which finds Chris etching towards a lighter monochrome. Dulcet kick drums and summery qualities lead to electrified iterations of new age sonics. Clever percussive coactions underpin a fascinating blend of enthusiastic projections, before segueing into a finale of sentimental tones and drum-driven euphoria. A fitting conclusion to three charming tracks from Domingo +, an artist who continues to have an exceptional year operating under his thriving solo moniker.

As the summer drifts in the vibrant months of autumn, we’re thrilled to revisit Eduardo McGregor’s second EP on the imprint - Tal Vez Soñar. The Mexican maestro has showcased a distinct knack for global grooves, percussive rhythms, and rich melodies. He’s a unique talent within dance music - a multi instrumentalist, composer, and educator. McGregor’s true musicianship brings distinct quality to his productions, and we continue explorations into original organic territories with a set of sensational remixes.

Hole Box & Vite follow up a terrific EP on Tale & Tone with their remix on the project’s namesake - Tal Vez Soñar. Driven percussion and rotating rhythms provide a deep ambiance, shifting effortlessly through melodic moods. The groove is ever-present, ensuring listeners are entrenched in the foundation of dance as Tal Vez Soñar’s signature vocal performance arrives in full.

Anjunadeep’s JFR makes his debut on TOR, also taking the reins on Eduardo’s Tal Vez Soñar. He decompresses the arrangement with a blissed-out tone and sets the spotlight on elongated vocal touches. A smooth and dreamy roller from the Argentinian!

Massio & Josta take on Nothing In The Dark, harnessing psychedelic tones and swirling soundscapes, playing with the mind while providing crisp percussion to please the senses. They touch upon global influences with dips and dives into diverse crevices of organic house flavor.

Closing us out is Ilias Katelanos & Plecta, who provide an immensely vibey remix of the B-side. Rich synthetics ebb & flow over a groove-laden bassline, as a break in energy offers devious dancefloor moments. An ominously opulent production from the pair, and one sure to find the bag of global selectors for late summer shows.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer Madloch, Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond  between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.   

Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.   

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt. 
 
Sound Avenue carefully curates each release to move their vision forward, building a close-knit family of scene veterans, while nurturing new talents such as Agustin Basulto, Giddyhead, Lucefora and Nicolas Rada. It’s this cohesive blend which has made the label bold, innovative and a standout in their field. With their finger firmly on the pulse of an ever evolving marketplace, it has been Sound Avenue’s foresight which has allowed them to adapt to this shifting landscape, while continuing to build their fanbase globally.
