Switching seaside ambience for a sound, shaped by inner-city living and the new surroundings in the duo’s adoptive city Berlin, this is an ode to first-time experiences, new languages, challenges, club culture and the shift from youth to maturity, as well as a balm to those stuck somewhere in between.

Future Avenue is delighted to welcome Fiordland to the label with his latest EP, "At the Mercy of You." Hailing from South East England and now residing amidst the breathtaking mountain landscapes of New Zealand's South Island, Fiordland is deeply immersed in the world of electronica. His music reflects a fusion of diverse global influences, mirroring his journey from the bustling streets of the UK to the serene vistas of New Zealand. With his debut release on the esteemed Seven Villas record label, Fiordland humbly aims to make his mark on the electronic music scene. Notably, he also released two originals at the end of last year on our 3rd Avenue label as part of the Three Of A Kind EP. For the remixes, we have enlisted the talents of Luis Del Vecchio, Seycel, Manuelo, and Charly DG.

Presenting their second release of the year, REFRACTION RECORDS welcomes Chiari to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Brazil, Chiari first emerged in 2019 on the strength of releases for The Purr and Magician on Duty. With a deep, organic and groovy sound, the Balneário Camboriu resident was quickly tipped as a new artist to watch going forward. The next three calendar years would see Chiari choose his projects wisely, adding Hoomidaas, Seven Villas and Where The Heart Is to his discography, while refining his repertoire with further depth, colour and detail. A remix of Pedro Capelossi's 'Horimono' via Loot Recordings ended 2023 on a high note, ultimately leading to his first release of 2024, and subsequent Refraction debut 'Plans & Plants', alongside remixes from Retza and Luis León.

Stephan Jolk is back with another EP for Watergate Records as all good things come in threes! After 'Seule' and 'Addiction' we’re happy to have the 'Luxuria' 2-track EP ready just in time for Summer.

For 'Luxuria', he's teamed up with Colombian DJ Kofla, bringing some serious Afro House vibes to the mix. Kofla originates from Colombia, he's known for infusing his tracks with rich cultural elements, blending traditional rhythms with contemporary beats

Flipping over to the B-side, we've got 'Desire', another slick track from Jolk following his recipe for these classy groovers incorporating female vocals. With each track, he's serving up a different flavor, the perfect soundtrack to your summer nights.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer Madloch, Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond  between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.   

Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.   

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt. 
 
Sound Avenue carefully curates each release to move their vision forward, building a close-knit family of scene veterans, while nurturing new talents such as Agustin Basulto, Giddyhead, Lucefora and Nicolas Rada. It’s this cohesive blend which has made the label bold, innovative and a standout in their field. With their finger firmly on the pulse of an ever evolving marketplace, it has been Sound Avenue’s foresight which has allowed them to adapt to this shifting landscape, while continuing to build their fanbase globally. As dance culture continues to grow Sound Avenue unites people from all walks of life, like-minded souls who are bound by one distinct trait, a passion for music.
