Right from Montreal does Jares invite us to a wonderful mind drift. His first Mukke release is dominated by deeply dreamful arpeggios, juicy baselines and wonderfully thought out grooves.

I am extremely happy to announce the release of my very first album, "Leaving", on June 27! This album is the result of many months of hard work, passion and collaboration with talented musicians. “Leaving” is a deep exploration of afro house, blending captivating rhythms and vibrant melodies that reflect my influences and musical journey.

Each track on this album has been carefully crafted to give you a unique and immersive sound experience. Additionally, I am particularly proud of the extraordinary collaborations that brought this musical vision to life. "Leaving" is more than just an album, it is a sonic journey that will transport you into a universe rich in emotions and sensations.

The 35th release on Cid Inc's Replug Records imprint welcomes Simos Tagias and Jorgio Kioris to the label. The Greek duo and sometime studio partners have been hotly tipped this year. Simos has come up quickly since his debut release in December of 2012. Now a regular in the sets of Hernan Cattaneo his 2015 highlights include an EP for Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music and a string of well received remixes.  As CEO and Founder of Greece's well known Bloque Festival Jorgio has been putting on one of his country's biggest parties since 2013. Together, as a production duo Simos and Jorgio have been hotly tipped this year. A May release on Luke Porter's Temporum Music was supported by Hernan Cattaneo and served as prelude for their latest studio creation 'Exist'. Already building hype in the underground after appearing in the sets of Cid Inc for the last several months, the track is now set for release alongside a remix from the Replug label boss himself. 

The groovy, percussive nature of Simos in conjunction with Jorgio's warm, well textured rhythms have produced a real gem in 'Exist'. Following a percussive, DJ friendly intro the duo unleash a funk laden groove which provides a boundless energy. With the rhythmic hooks now fully tantalizing the senses a summery motif drops in and flows through a storyboard of wonderful chord changes. Breaking down into its second act a more atmospheric dynamic is explored and slowly you're whisked away to the heavens. The captivating interlude culminates with a warm rush of drums and beats, as waves of indistinct vocals carry you back into the powerful groove and on to a gorgeous conclusion.  A brilliant production from Simos and Jorgio that's going to be perfect for the end of the summer season. 

The lone interpretation of 'Exist' is provided by Henri Hurtig aka Cid Inc. The Replug label boss has continued to dominate the Beatport charts all though the 2015 summer season. His critically acclaimed Sudbeat EP was followed by the recently released 'Collection Vol. 2'; reaching Top 10 in four genres and earned chart, radio and club support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy Mantzur. For his 'Exist' interpretation Cid Inc. has taken the track in a different and equally inspired direction. With a markedly slowly tempo Henri's rework of the groove is immediately charming. Phasing themes play through the first act before some wonderful designs initiate the breakdown. The two minute plus interlude builds a mystical presence before the main motif shines though the atmospheric haze for a moment of ethereal brilliance. It's a heavenly vibe and one which the tastefully restrained conclusion makes all the more impactful. A gorgeous way to end the release and one of Cid Inc's finest remixes no doubt. Don't miss it.

An artist who has been a central pillar in dance music's underground house, Barry Jamieson is an iconic and legendary name with over two decades of high-profile experience. Having worked with Sasha on his ground-breaking "Involver" and Involv2er", Jamieson's solo career has found a similarly elevated level of success. With his music wedded to the acclaimed microCastle, Quivver's Boz Boz and his own Circular Sounds Recordings, Jamieson's Mono Electric Orchestra pseudonym has seen him feature on John Digweed's Bedrock and Nick Warren's Hope Recordings with stunning results. Remixing Kastis Torrau & Donatello's "Ida", under his own name, Jamieson now returns as Mono Electric Orchestra to rework "Organik". Creating a sonic landscape of unparalleled quality, heavily effected reverse reverb hints at Khan's motifs as orchestral passages sing across the mid-range. Hitting its stride, a huge glissando bassline punches through the low-end in stripped-back glory against a ticking percussive cadence, before the melodic structures build once more with a plucked riff and rousing string passages that are straight out of the Sasha production playbook. The result is a remix that is at the very pinnacle of underground dance and a timeless classic.

| Tim Penner's Slideways Music returns welcoming Dowden back to the label for his debut single. Previously known as Onez!e, the Canadian artist has settled into his Dowden moniker quite nicely with appearances on Beatfreak, Beat Boutique, ICONYC and John 00 Fleming's JOOF Recordings. Having first appeared on Slideways with a remix of Basil O'Glue's 'Dante', Dowden now lands back on the Canadian imprint with 'Gridlock' alongside remixes from Tim Penner and Solid Stone. 

Since adopting the Dowden moniker we've seen the Canadian stretch his creative wings. Although rooted within the confines of progressive house Dowden has also explored the deeper and more techno oriented blueprints of the genre. His latest leans towards the latter with a tough foundation and crisp rhythmic drive. It's calculated build and hypnotic drawl is heady to say the least, with astral effects and wonky arps fully saturating your senses as the breakdown commences. Cinematic yet cosmic, icy overlays heighten emotion as the centrepiece unfolds, playing off the cascading themes, before a gentle rush ushers in a stellar finale.  

The first interpretation of 'Gridlock' is provided by Slideways label boss Tim Penner. 2019 has seen the Canadian artist forge a strong bond with John OO Fleming's JOOF Recordings. The UK imprint has played host to the Toronto resident's only two offerings of the year, the 'Oceans Between' EP in January and the February release of his Beatport #1 artist album 'Radio Silence'. Now returning to his comfortable home of Slideways, Tim delivers a powerful rendition of 'Gridlock'. Once again operating at a creative peak, the Canadian maintains the tough, punchy ethos of the original while reworking the melodic narrative in a darker more astral fashion. It's crunchy rhythms and fiery percussion unite in a perfect sonic marriage, while an array of fierce effects steal the air. Intense and vivid, it's a storyboard of modulation which ultimately rules the narrative, running through a cavernous break as percussive flurries and creaking artefacts unite for a massive crescendo. 

Rounding out this all Canadian release is Solid Stone who returns to the label and provides the second and final interpretation of 'Gridlock'. 2019 has seen the Montreal resident release three critically acclaimed EPs. Coming courtesy of his Phenomena imprint, this trio of two track offerings yielded play and support from some of the underground's most prominent tastemakers in Adriatique and Tale Of Us. Now returning to Slideways for the first time in almost three years, Solid Stone caps the release off with a stunning take on 'Gridlock'. Anchored by a rippling groove and rhythmic waves, it sits as a more emotive complement to its predecessors. It's evolving narrative builds a palpable tension across the first act, as layers of percussion converge before smoothly segueing into the main break. Taking a cue from the original, the arp rises to prominence amidst warm bass swells and sizzling electronics, as percussive splashes and heady beats usher in a massive drop. Another superb remix from Solid Stone which completes what is a triumphant return for Tim Penner's Slideways Music. |

Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint continues a strong start to the year by showcasing the first installment of it’s ‘Re:Imagined’ series. These Various Artists EP showcases will take a look back over the label’s catalog, presenting new interpretations from some of the freshest talent in the underground. In what promises to be a highlight in the Belgian imprints release schedule, the first installment finds Nopi, Hot TuneiK, Retza and Gimerique re-interpreting tracks from Paula OS, Paul Angelo & Don Argento, Paul Deep and Lerr respectively.

Having first appeared in March of 2019, Romanenko Vladislav aka Nopi has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the organic house underground. In just nine short months the Ukrainian artist has found a home on Akbal Music, When We Dip / XYZ, Sag & Tre and Seven Villas. His fresh take on deep and dreamy house has propelled him to one of the genre’s top up and comers. Now making his much-anticipated Sound Avenue debut he delivers an inspired take on ‘Pearl’ by Paula OS. Always a creative remixer, the Ukrainian artist expands on the unique qualities of the original with an eight-minute free form sonic spectacle. Full, warm and undeniably organic; it’s bulbous low end, airy vocals and exotic percussion provide the framework for moments of impassioned energy. Unpredictability and a wealth of blissful concepts make this a more than worthy complement to the original.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer Madloch, Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond  between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.
