Boris Mijolic, better known by his artist name Mass Digital was born on 13th Feb 1987 in Novi Sad, Serbia. This Serbian born music producer is making huge waves in the house/electronic genres and his melancholic tracks are conquering hearts and dancefloors all around the world . Hailing from Northern Serbia, Boris developed a deep rooted love for electronic music during his teenage years listening to his father's vinyls and tapes.

In the past few years he has been signed to a major record labels around the globe. Remixes and Co - productions with global artist are in work and his studio schedule and interest for his work has no end!
He is like a wind, he can’t stop and he will not stop as long as there's imagination and music in his mind and ears.

Mass Digital's answer is simple - do what you love & follow your vibe.
In addition to his genre-defining works, his tracks continues to inspire and ignite dancefloors worldwide.

His sound stretches somewhere between melodic, deep, house and techno, whilst respectfully treading the line between commercial and credible underground.

For our third episode, we welcome Powel from Germany. With a career that now spans over a decade, Berlin based artist Powel has continued to delight organic house aficionados with his releases via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Do Not Sit and more. As a favourite of the genre's tastemakers, Powel made his Sound Avenue debut in 2019 with a gorgeous rendition of 'Pearl' by Paula OS. A groovy yet impassioned take on the track that earned praise from Eelke Kleijn, Nick Warren, Modd, Roy Rosenfeld and Sasha. 2022 would see Powel make a return to the label with an equally impressive take on Mariner + Domingo's 'I Still Remember'. Over the course of an electronic music obsession more than 20 years strong, Mark Slee has evolved a deep musical style that reflects a unique personality, blending intuition and introspection with a methodical approach to production and curation.
  
His original productions and remixes have been released on labels such as Cityfox, Lost Diaries, Where The Heart Is and more. Keep a lookout, we’ll be featuring something from him later this year on Loot Recordings. His sound has earned him DJ sets in notable clubs such as Kater Blau and Sisyphos in Berlin and the infamous Robot Heart among many others.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer Madloch, Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond  between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.   

Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.   

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt. 
 
Sound Avenue carefully curates each release to move their vision forward, building a close-knit family of scene veterans, while nurturing new talents such as Agustin Basulto, Giddyhead, Lucefora and Nicolas Rada. It’s this cohesive blend which has made the label bold, innovative and a standout in their field. With their finger firmly on the pulse of an ever evolving marketplace, it has been Sound Avenue’s foresight which has allowed them to adapt to this shifting landscape, while continuing to build their fanbase globally.
