Premiere: Arteforma - Osmosi (Dulus Remix) [3rd Avenue]

A new artist to the Particles roster, Amir Telem's music is not defined by genres, instead placing an emphasis on a "deep sense of connectivity to something higher". This approach has seen his work signed to a host of impressive imprints including UV Noir, Timeless Moment and Everything Will Be OK. His Particles debut opens with the title track as the popping percussive cadence provides the opportunity for a shimmering arpeggio and deep sustained bassline to shine on "Sweet Longing". A beautiful piano sequence adds to the melodic collage in emotive fashion before a brassy synth makes its play. Extending the melodic phrasing post-breakdown, a fizzing vibrant energy characterises the impressive piece.

An artist with a bold and growing reputation, BLANCAh continues to dazzle from her home in Florianópolis. Through her own Hiato Music and a wealth of tracks featuring on Timeless Moment, Sprout and 2020's full-length "Arias of Sky" for Renaissance", the Brazilian has flourished. A single remix for Petar Dundov marked BLANCAh's Proton Music debut as she joins Particles with a suitably powerful offering. Reworking "Sweet Longing", the BLANCAh rework creates a driving dancefloor groove with a syncopated bassline and fizzing top-line. Building in intensity, the melodic themes of the original are innovatively retained while extended outward in glorious new direction creating an elegant new remix.

Mariner + Domingo require little introduction; both excelling at their chosen artform. Renowned DJ's and producers, the pair have a rich history between them. Almost a double century of production credits bear witness to that fact as the US duo have seen their work feature on the likes of Sound Avenue, Balkan Connection and The Purr. Regulars on Particles, March 2021's "Azimuth" was followed by "Lose Control" two months later. Further bookended by remixes for Izzet and Petar Dundov, the pair now return with a typically deep and evocative remix of "Sweet Longing". Making strong use of the melancholic sustained bassline of the original, Mariner + Domingo have created a slightly more stripped back affair that revels in a deep atmosphere and sonic landscape. Making excellent use of Amir Telem's remix parts, an exquisite new chord progression is added to the production arrangement to create a sumptuous dancefloor gem.

The latest release from Madloch's Sound Avenue finds label stalwart Subnode returning for a new single. Hailing from Belgium, Subnode has found a way to create a personal universe by exploring electronic sounds, and ultimately finding his own place in the trend-driven state of underground dance music. Whether operating in solo capacity or alongside frequent production partner and Sound Avenue label boss Madloch; Subnode's creative vision would summon praise from a broad spectrum of electronic music tastemakers, in turn leading to a string of superlative releases with a distinctive voice all their own. Although best known for his house and techno releases, Subnode has diversified his portfolio with downtempo compositions, movie scores and a veritable smorgasbord of experimental electronica; all avenue's where he continues to stretch his creative wings. Sound Avenue and label affiliates 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds would become primary homes for Subnode, with the Belgian artist racking up fifty-three discography credits for the three imprints across a five-year stretch. With 2023 being highlighted by the recently released Madloch collaboration ‘A Fading Dream', Subnode now returns to his solo ways for his latest Sound Avenue project ‘Hypnotica', alongside a remix from HAEN. Premiere: Stan Tone, Izhevski - Bogatyr [Melody Of The Soul]

'Tusen Takk' means 'Thank You' in Norwegian language. I finished this track in August 2022, the night before I had to perform at a festival in Norway.

I wanted to dedicate this track to all of you because it was an incredible experience for me. It was in a beautiful and unique natural venue, but above all, it was the people I spent almost a week with that made it truly special - organizers, DJs, the audience, fellow artists, and more.

I remember staying up late into the night to finish the track because I wanted to play it as the closing of my set, and I did just that. It was only played live twice, at that moment and when I returned to my home country, Argentina. I keep many of my tracks for special moments and play them sparingly, and this was one of those. Now, I hope you can listen to it or play it wherever you like.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer Madloch, Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond  between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.   

Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.   

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt.
