One of the most prolific and polished producers around, London's ilan Bluestone continues his recent hot streak with Anjunabeats' first release of 2014, "Spheres".

A timeless favourite and Above & Beyond's most established release under their OceanLab guise (alongside Justine Suissa), "Satellite" celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Having stormed the UK charts and Radio 1 playlist in 2004, the time was right for a rework for the modern dance floor and here it comes courtesy of Anjuna man of the moment, ilan Bluestone. 

Chronicling the difficulties of long distance love, "Satellite" is a poignant  tale, delivered by the deep and emotive voice of Justine. Having received the nod from the don of dance music Pete Tong for his recent "Big Ben" EP, ilan Bluestone's rework keeps the frenetic energy of the original at its heart; a scintillating groove offsetting the rich uplifting orchestral breakdown. With a crashing crescendo and euphoric synth surge, ilan has captured the spirit that made OceanLab the soundtrack to so many summers.

Nearly a year ago, Dan & Sam dazzled progressive fans with their Silk Royal debut "Breaking The Illusion". Since that time, they have continued to write intelligent and deeply poignant club-oriented tracks, such as "Walls" (feat. Maxx Hennard), which won the "Push The Button" vote on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" radio. We're thrilled to present their third original single on Silk Royal, "An Interesting Dream", which also comes equipped with a tremendous interpretation by American sensation eleven.five.

The Original Mix kicks off with a tech-influenced groove; Dan Sieg, 1/2 of the duo, has been dabbling in deeper, darker shades of house and progressive under his solo alias in recent months. Yet, as the track approaches the main break, we start to hear the synth "swells" more associated with their more familiar, big-room sound. In the main break, we are met by a suspenseful, yet truly gorgeous main theme. The tune comes to a climax at this moment, heightened by the crescendoing percussion. The drop to follow, perhaps to the surprise of the listener, reverts back to the more subdued groove, thereby releasing the "tension" of the dream and suggesting that any potential nightmares have been averted.

Intricate Records is proud to announce Matt Fax’s debut release featuring three original productions, «Anima», «Beyond» and «Wickham».

David Ciekanski, well-known for his musical alias Matt Fax, is a remarkable representative of a new producers’ generation. Despite the young age, these musicians are quickly approaching the creative and technical levels of the dance music scene veterans. At only 16 years of age, Matt already has a number of tracks and remixes in his discography, including releases on Nueva Digital, Silk Music, Neuroscience Deep, Axon and Colorize. Dedicated media call him an artist to follow in 2013 and emphasize unstoppable growth of his talent. Now the time has come for Matt’s debut on Intricate Records. The initial extended play for the Russian label is compiled of three tracks, «Anima», «Beyond» and «Wickham», which literary radiate juicy and cheerful emotions; this type of sound convinced Matt’s listeners to call him «the son of Eric Prydz». By the way, «Wickham» was already tested in February 2013 during the massive «Trancemission» festival and deserved applause of several thousand clubbers. Aside from that, «Wickham» is already confirmed to appear on the special label compilation «Intricate Sessions Vol. 01 Mixed by PROFF and Vadim Soloviev», which will see the light of day within the next weeks. Recently Matt Fax made an announcement that he was going to take a spring break and to lock himself up in the studio until the summer time comes; Matt decided to entirely concentrate on studio work and communicate with the outside world only through his manager. But for those listeners and clubbers who follow Intricate Records activity, this should not be a hindrance.
