Our next Urban Cosmonaut personifies the essence of this podcast series. 
Peter Power's music is a multi-dimensional exploration of sounds that takes the reader on a voyage, to a ritual gathering in a sacred temple, where we find ourselves in the heart of the jungle on a remote planet, spiraling into percussive, vocal and atmospheric loops blended with music from around the world.

Peter Power is a medium. 
He saturates himself with input from the ambience of his environment, from the beating of his own and others' hearts. Channeling his inspirations into mixes that oscillate, vibrate, pulsate, girate, elongate - his own edits, remixes and productions reveal a celestial sound that is unique to him.
After emerging from a darker place these past few years, this mix is his attempt to reconnect with the warmer light of humanity. 

We asked Peter what his third eye means to him. His answer: it's the feedback between inner and outer self. We'll take that as an impulse and let him guide us to a sacred place inside ourselves and outside the constraints of the body self.

His message to the listener is simple: awake into life!

All Sounds have been Generated with a Red Bull Can (355ml). It has been hit, drummed, plucked, rolled, openend, thrown away, squeezed and so on. 
Each Sound, even the Basslines were designed in Steinberg Nuendo from the recorded sounds by heavy pitch shifting/bending, Formant-Shifting, Time stretching and Layering in Melodyne. Plus Offline-FX, layering, lot's of distortion and compression, some Effectrix for rhythmic baseline. The drum sounds were first designed, then saved as wav-files and loaded in GrooveAgent One to trigger them by Midi. Same for the percussion sounds.

An intense and distorbing musical fly-through an abandoned and long forgotten laboratory for experimental paranormal science. 
A place that's been silent witness to endless ineffable madness and cruelty. Peaple are saying, due to its massive concrete walls  and steel. not a single soul ever found a way out, to finally find eternal salvation. Instead, they say, each of the poor souls is cought in a loop of of the last moments before their torturous deaths.
