Oh, for the good old days when life was less complicated and appeared far more rosier than our current global situation.

This is a pensive composition and moves along with images from an older woman's past. Ray's music provides a jazz framework for the memories as they flow much as a stream of consciousness, one image after another - a series of Black and White photos from a Brownie camera or the scenes from a silent film. 

There is a lot to take in and the tempo allows the listener to project his or her own thoughts and feelings onto the silver screen of your mind's eye.

I picked up a guitar and started recording.
Since it's a big deal, I tried adding vocals as well.
Those are terrible lyrics! Hahahaha!

I didn't include many synth sounds, so it was completed in one day.

The melody has been approved by my lovely little granddaughter Greta!
Today, June 6, 2023, is a big day for Sweden. We are celebrating the 500th anniversary of our country in its current form. It feels good!

What amuses children
