Next up we have Bek with the Ceops Dynasty EP including a remix by SONANTIS. Both Bek and the dj duo sonantis are based in Hamburg and have truly established themselves in the local electronic music scene. 

The year 2015 was priceless for Bek as he won the Mixmag + ANTS Ibiza DJ competition with over 300 participating DJs. In order to this, he played at Ushuaia Ibiza for ANTS on September 19 alongside Uner, Timo Maas, Los Suruba, Andrea Oliva and Ben Pearce.

Productionwise he released material on Natura Viva Black, OBENMUSIK and Enchant Audio. Reference locations are Ushuaia Ibiza, Snowbeat Festival, Uebel & Gefährlich, Docks, Waagenbau, Baalsaal, MS Stubnitz, Edelfettwerk, Prinzenbar, Fundbureau and many more. 

Also from Hamburg we are welcoming Sonantis to the family with an on-point remix of "Flex your Muscles", the second track of the release. Actually the next EP on our label will be a 4 tracker by Sonantis and we can´t wait to share it!

This time around, we open up for something new on the label. Moldova-based talent Sarmigetusa is a fresh member on the label with a style that is more in line with techno & hard techno. So yes, we are increasing the BPM on this release.

The EP still keeps melodic elements like we are used to on the label.

Marafiniya contains 2 tracks you surely ought to hear. An upped tempo but the great melodic elements are a driving force in both of the workouts.

These are energy bombs! Enjoy.

► About FELIX E

As a son of two musicians, Felix came into contact with music very early in his childhood and learned to play drums and many different percussion instruments in over 13 years of practice. His enthusiasm for electronic music began later in his youth and not least through his still ongoing friendship with Michael Ritter, whom he has known since his school days. In 2018 the two decided to become independent in the music scene and founded the label Grey Bar Hotel. In his own productions, Felix increasingly incorporates various percussive and organic elements and varies with various analog synthesizers, creating deep and experimental soundscapes.
