I always wanted to create a Salsa-Cuban-Latin-Jazz inspired Piece. I do not know much about latin and didnt compose anything in this genre before, so it was quite hard to get in the feel and i had to invest some time to make this authentic in feel. I added some Crowd-FX so the piece feels more authentic. Latin music just doesnt feel realistic if it is to clean - in Cuba they know how to party i guess! I have imagined a Bar in Havanna where people taking some Cuba Libre, Mochitos and ron are cheering and dancing to a cuban Live-Band. My goal was to create a piece with focus on rhythm and chord-progression.

La Pura Vida

Hey there,

here is my first attempt to make a real cinematic track - now that i got the hard- and software power to do such things ... just so incredibly fun to write music with all these new tools - stil have to get used to! I have written the track within the last 30 hours before the deadline and it was quite tricky - normally i compose with focus on the piano, so this was quite complicated for me to do.

Public Enemy No.1

Hey there guys,

here is a little solo flamenco guitar piece featuring the flamenco guitar from EWQL´s (East West Quantum Leap) library GYPSY.

I am a big fan of spanish culture and musics, so i decided to compose some flamenco-style piece for flamenco guitar (I am not a guitar player so this is my first real journey into the world of guitar music and i think it wont be the last time - this piece was so much fun to compose and edit!). I wanted the sound to be as realistic as possible. Thats why i composed without following the DAWs grid but composed everything just by ear / feel.

I have used the following instruments here:
EWQL Gypsy - Flamenco Lead
EWQL Gypsy - Classical Guitar (for  harmonics and string noise)
EWQL Gypsy - Flamenco Dancer Steps
EWQL Gypsy - Castanets
EWQL Voices of Passion - Syria Master (female voice)

The piece is inspired by the Zorro - novels. Esperanza de la Vega was the wife of Diego de la Vega, who was a spanish nobleman who lived in his mansion on the countryside of California in the middle of the 19th century. He was known as a very careful and shy man, but by night he turned into Zorro - the avenger of the poor and dispossessed - and fought for the californian people. The song shell embody the beauty and wildness of his wife Esperanza (she is the woman who hums in the beginning of the piece).

Knights Of The Cross

Hey there,

this is my contribution for the great Super Smash Bros Fan-arranged album "Harmony of Heroes" from Shinesparkers. I did a jazz piano arrangement for the Legend of Zelda N64 theme "Hyrule Castle", original composition by Koji Kondo) in westcoast jazz style like oscar peterson used to compose in.

I am really proud i was part of this project since it was really a great experience and i met lots of interesting people there. Even the official Nintendo Magazine wrote some nice lines about the Album, which is totally awesome :) Enjoy!

High Roller´s Castle (Zelda Conversion)

Hey there guys,

Here is one of the ingame level tracks of the Elder Scrolls - Oblivion mod "RATHUNAS" i am working on right now. The mod has gone beta a few days ago and offers a large (5-10 hours of gameplay) and elaborate quest with riddles and lots of wonderful details. 35 voiceactors were recorded. The mod is developed by Scott and Katherine Courtney who did an excellent job creating this great project.

The creator of Rathunas, Scott, about the meaning of this Tenebrae Track in the games context:

"The music evokes a disquieting feeling of something faintly perceptible to the player, but not identifiable, like a movement glimpsed in the periphery of vision, or a voice heard but not understood. Something terrible happened here thousands of years ago, and in these dark tunnels the memory of awful events still lingers."

Rathunas - Equilibrium Obscurum

Hello there,

here is a medieval inspired choir track i have written featuring the library "Mystica" by Eduardo Tarilonte and Best Service.

For this track i have used

- Mystica for all the voices

- ERA Medieval Legends for the Bell Tower Sound and the deep drone in the background

- ProjectSAM True Strike I for the belltree sounds

I did not use any additional effects on the voices. That really is the sound of Mystica right out of the box!

The Concert (Concept)

Hello there,

here is my latest piece - an Organ Toccata called "Qui sedet ad dexteram patris" that i have written to finally test out my new "toccata" library by sonokinetic (no external effects / EQ or whatever. What you hear here is the Library right out of the box!). I really had a lot of fun creating this piece which is my first honest attempt to write a realistic piece for pipe organ.

Toccata "Qui Sedet Ad Dexteram Patris"

Doswidanja Rodina (Russian Red Army Choir Inspired)

I decided to do something totally different that i have never tried before: Bavarian folk music from my homeland - the bavarian culture is a strong part of my personality. Many Bavarians - me included - mainly feel  bavarian , secundary  german and least european :D So the Bavarian part is very dominant in our souls. Maybe its also interesting to know that we Bavarians have many similarities with the scottish due to our tribal origins.

The first part (the tracks introduction)  is a style called Stubnmusi ("Bavarian Chamber Music") and is mostly played in the rural areas, especially / black forest / the alps). Its a very intimate and quiet music style.

The second part is a track that you could find in a bavarian festival in a beer tent - at the Oktoberfest or the Bergkirchweih in Erlangen for example. I used 3 Trombones and a Tuba (Samplemodeling), an Accordion (Ilya Efimov), 2 Clarinets (Embertone Herring), Snares and Cymbals (ProjectSAM True Strike)and some SFX   to get the authentic beer tent feel. The guitar for the introduction was the Ilya Efimov Nylon.

The Earthling Paean

Here is a track that i have written for and dedicated to my friend dem0lecule who has to walk through tough times and still impresses all of us with his incredible love for others, his dedication to music and his courage he showed during all these heavy times. I really deeply respect you and am very glad to have you here with us.
The title i have given to this piece - 闇の果て (Yaminohate) which means The End of Darkness - shall be a symbol for hope and the believe of beter times to come soon.

This piece is part of the m0lecular - Soundwaves in Liberty Album.

dem0lecule is a person that always tries to support and help others - even in his darkest times and struggles. Thats why we have decided to follow his noble example and try to do some fundraising to help people in trouble.

Playing Rabbits

Hey there,

some days ago i wanted to created some kind of homage for oscar peterson. After having finished the track my system crashed and almost the whole track has been destroyed. After that i had the idea to bring in some argentinean piazolla-style-bandoneon sound to create a french feeling. I have been inspired by woody allens movie "Midnight in Paris". Hope you guys enjoy it - even it is short :D

Happy Easter Everyone!

I have written this piece sitting home alone this easter due to the Covid-19 - lockdown. After a friend told me that he was sad not being able to hear some church-music this year I felt inspired to write a Church-Song / Organ piece and out came "So seid Euch Auch Zu Finst´rer Stunde". It is a piece about hope and resurrection and meant to carry a positive message.

This piece was created with virtual instruments only (the Organ is the Organum Venezia by BestService. I also added some Hall Noise from good old Symphonic Orchestra by EWQL and also some organ FX from Soundiron´s Lakeside Organ (sheet-turning noises, chair squeeks and stuff like that.).

There will be a version with choir, too. But for that I needed to finish the download of EWQL´s Hollywood Choirs Diamond to excessively use it´s Wordbuilder. Stay tuned.

Hi! I am a lawyer and multigenre composer living in Nuremberg, Germany. I absolutely loved movies and games since my childhood and so it is not a surprise i also love to do film- and gamescoring. I also create demos for sample libraries.

I like good music in any form and genre and compose from celtic and classical, cinematic over jazz and world music to electronic and rock/metal. I especially have a crush on piano and orchestral.
