Divinity

SOUNDCIRCLES was formed in 2010, in the sunny and always hot city of Miami by guitarist Byron Lopez and guitarist/vocalist Diego Fernandez. 

Their undeniable love of space rock pioneers Pink Floyd inspired both friends to form a tribute band to honor their psychedelic heroes, inviting longtime friend and bassist Javier Leguiza to join the project. After an extensive search to find the two missing pieces to complete the circle, destiny - with a little help of Craigslist - provided drummer Daniel Bras and keyboardist Christian D. Spano, the latter who has played in various Miami local bands since the early 90's.
 
The band performed a few gigs under the name of Eclipse, ultimately deciding that it was time to start working on their own material and put the Floyd days behind. They dropped the name Eclipse, and Soundcircles was born. 

Soundcircles immediately started working on their debut EP titled “Upstream", with the help of their very charismatic friend, Mr. Ferny Coipel, owner of the Shack Studios and front-man of Hialeah’s Humbert.
 
The group combined spacey and moody elements from bands like Travis, Radiohead, Interpol, Doves, and Pink Floyd, infusing them with their own personalities and ethnic backgrounds (Argentina, Nicaragua, Portugal, Ecuador and United States). The result is reflected in the "Upstream" EP.

In early 2013 Lead Singer and guitarist Diego Fernandez left the band to pursue new goals. Long time friend John Arroyo was invited by the band to join in on guitars. Soundcircles in currently recording their sophomore EP titled "Truth and Lies" and it is planned to be released in summer of 2014.
 
Soundcircles currently performs in Miami’s local scene.
