"Get Something Going" is the fourth release for eAstwrAd and his second EP. Organic touches rich with vinyl-esq beats, percussion, acoustic guitar and funk bass. Throughout the music often opens up a portal to a psychedelic web of retro-future synthesis that gently blends the foreign with the familiar. As per his pseudonym, eAstwArd begs to take his listeners on a journey, and that journey seems to go where the sun rises; Eastward.

I wanted GSG to take me back to the early Noughties where I met Nina (now my wife). Days when responsibility was next to nil, parties aplenty and hangovers consisted of slurping down cheap Pho’ on Victoria Street. Nina has a few vocal lines, “You’re so spunky… Kind of groovy… And delicious... So much fun…” We did have “so much fun”, and still do especially recording the vocal on this. My studio is at home, so when the munchkins are asleep, Nina and I can get in there and get creative.
