Steve Brookfield is a musician, producer, arranger and live sound engineer from seaside town Southport near Liverpool, and also goes by the name of CA3 Studios.

It seems there is no genre Steve cannot write in with world class quality, from rock to jazz to electronic and very effectively in classical orchestral styles.

Steve is also a very active collaborator on SoundCloud with tracks involving Cyra Morgan, Zefora, Elaine Davidson, one with me, and more.

Nigel Honney-Bayes is known on Soundcloud as Kroak and is a prolific and incredibly consistent composer and performer in mainly a rock style on guitar and other instruments. Each piece seems to push the boundaries of what's possible on the guitar in a new and fascinating direction. He is also a gifted artist and  the outlandish characters and plots of his own comic strip creations are the inspiration for the music you're hearing.

This is the all-call message for April's Soundcloud Heroes community collaboration project.  Here are the details:

April is National Poetry Month, and we are launching a new community collaboration project called National Poetry Month Collaborations to commemorate this important form of art.

The goal of the project is to challenge everyone to share their favorite poetry in a creative way and to bring attention to the great pieces of poetry that are out there.
Whether you are a singer, musician, podcaster, spoken word artist, a novice or a pro at recording and mixing, you can choose how you'd like to be involved. We offer three different options of participation.

Here's how:
First join the National Poetry Month Collaborations group: https://soundcloud.com/groups/national-poetry-month-collaborations
You can participate in the following ways: 

Option 1 - Share a line of your favorite poetry or spoken word piece
Upload one line of your favorite poetry/spoken word piece. It can be from your favorite poet or from your own works. Tag the track "Oneliner." Name the title of your track "National Poetry Month: Your Name." For example: National Poetry Month: Christopher D. Sims. Credit the poem you decide to use in the description.

Option 2: Add to the poem or add backing music 
Download one of the "Oneliner" tagged submissions. Continue the poem, or provide original backing music to one of the pieces. The idea here is to create a completely new poem by adding a different line or music to it.
You can also add original music of your own, or invite other musicians or producer friends to add their music as a backing to your poetry remix.

3. By April 30, submit to the group https://soundcloud.com/groups/national-poetry-month-collaborations and be sure to include the name of everyone involved in your collaboration. Credit the poem you decide to use.
All submissions will be featured on the SoundCloud Heroes profile and featured here and on the SoundCloud blog.
