“I haven’t been much of a “follow the rules” kind of guy ever since I put out my first record in the late 90s. I’m not a traditionalist, I fall more into the category of tourist. Hence the name, UFO! 

As a tourist I can look at different traditions and appreciate them without feeling bound to keeping it the same. UFO! embraces change. UK Jungle is the biggest influence in my early life as a producer, it’s in my DNA. In creating “Streets EP”, I use the tradition of what 90s UK jungle was and make it my own by mutating the programming. There are many change ups within the 16-bar length in some of these tunes, things do not roll out as traditional Jungle does. But I found this way of programming to come very natural to me.

I live in San Francisco, California aka The Bay Area where we get good sun and are surrounded by incredible diversity. I have always seen myself as a part of the innovative history that The Bay has given to the world in music, film, and literature.

If you're expecting our usual output from the Ejector Seat EP, then we're sorry to say you're going to be extremely disappointed, but you shouldn't be, as this release is packed with some of the most unique grooves and rhythms we've ever had the pleasure of releasing. As one of the more niche sub-genres of electronic music, OHARE seems to have mastered the craft when it comes to Footwork / Juke, managing to combine quick, steppy drum patterns, with even quicker basslines, and even some elegantly chopped vocals for that little bit of icing on the cake, all while doing it in a perfect harmony that not many could achieve. As a genre that isn't that widely known, it comes as no surprise that when we decided to take this don on as one of our core artists, it was this style of production that made us fall in love with his output, it takes a lot as an artist to push a sound you truly believe in and not fall into the same patterns as many others do, and for that we will forever have the upmost respect for him. Whilst Mizaru_01 was focused to breakbeats & donated it's revenue to the Ukraine DEC, Kikazaru_02 finds itself deeply entrenched into the field of 140, dubstep and grime. Joining this project are 6 artists who want to support the ongoing conflict in Palestine, so we're donating the revenue to support the Palestinian Children Relief Fund (PCRF). Regardless of what you feel about this war, the large-scale destruction of housing, facilities and infrastructure has left a great deal of Palestine's population in need of urgent aid. Children are the most innocent victims who are at the most risk.
