The debut release on Soundfactory Records...we've been in idle preparing for the Ascension on January 18, 2015, but we hope that this 46th Street gem, released just before the police and DA stole the club, brings back fond memories. The dancefloor went into a special zone with the dj working this record hard.

Producer Terry Farley, as Fire Island and under many other monikers, produced more hits at the original 27th Street Soundfactory than probably any other producer with his partner in the era Pete Heller ("Big Love"). His massive remix of Happy Mondays' "Stinkin Thinkin" became a timeless classic and fired up the dance floor like very few other tracks. It's wonderful to see the producers who cut their teeth on our dancefloors continue to make phenomenal tracks.

Terry has remained busy, still occasionally working with mega-producer Pete Heller ("Big Love"), but with talented partner Nebulon produced the quintessential new 'runway' track for Soundfactory.

Greg O is a trusted producer of a dj-friend of the Factory who once graced 46th Street with a Thanksgiving eve set never to be forgotten: Danny Tenaglia. Since 27th Street, Danny has helped identify new talent like Murk (in that era, Coral Way Chiefs, Funky Green Dogs, etc.) and it was his attention to Greg O that drew our attention his way.

We went on a nearly 2 decade hunt for this Frankie Knuckles extended gem that was part of the underground ride. Sure, big songs like "The Pressure" and "The Whistle Song" came from our dancefloor, but this was one of Frankie's secret weapons. May he Rest in Peace. We are so proud to have been his home, and that sets the bar very high for our future djs.
