The AS Val Silenced Sound is the sound of the AS Val Automatic Rifle with an attached silencer (suppressor). The AS Val is integrally suppressed and chambered in 9×39mm, a subsonic cartridge, in order to reduce its report. The suppressor effectively reduces muzzle flash and muzzle report of the firearm to 130 dB. There are no design features which reduce the noise of the action. Manipulation is similar to many AK-type rifles: charging handle on the right side, tangent rear sight, magazine release button behind the magazine well, and safety lever above the trigger guard. The fire selector is, however, located behind the trigger within the trigger guard. The rifle also has an “AK-type” Warsaw Pact rail for various optical sights, namely the PSO-1-1, PSO-1M2-1, and 1-PN-51 calibrated for use with the 9x39mm cartridge.

The AS Val Silenced Sound Construction Kit demonstration uses 3 combined “OneShot” + ”Loop” + ”Stop” sounds, then 4 random “OneShot” + ”Stop” sounds. All the sounds in this preview as in the library, without processing. Also, our Unity and Unreal Engine projects use these files. We proudly presents the unique Ka-52 Alligator sound effects library for game developers with detailed instructions on how to use it. For the library we used real field recordings of Ka-52 Alligator helicopter. The Ka-52 Alligator SFX sound library contains 37 high-quality helicopter engine sounds and about 30 weapon sounds. The weapon sounds include the firing of the 2A42 autocannon, the launch of single light rockets, and the launch of rocket salvos consisting of eight or more rockets. These diverse audio effects add to the immersive and dynamic combat experience. Using them together, your Alligator comes to life!

You can also find a ready-made solution for UNITY platform – Ka-52 Alligator Helicopter: Sound System + Flight Model and for UNREAL ENGINE – Ka-52 Alligator Helicopter: Sound System + Flight Model. It contains all necessary code for reproducing the sounds of the Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter depending on engine RPM, main and tail rotors RPM, helicopter’s speed, yaw, thrust, and the distance from the helicopter to the listener. Moreover these projects also implement a fully controllable advanced flight model of the Ka-52 Alligator. Thus, you can control the helicopter using the keyboard or game controller.

The Suomi KP/-31 Designed Sound captures the rapid, sharp burst of the Finnish submachine gun famed for its reliability and accuracy. Introduced in 1931, the Suomi KP/-31 fires the 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge from a drum or box magazine, delivering a high rate of fire with excellent control. Its robust construction and effective muzzle brake made it a favorite among Finnish troops during the Winter War and World War II. Known for its distinctive mechanical cycling and crisp firing sound, the Suomi KP/-31 proved deadly in close combat and urban warfare. The weapon features a wooden stock, simple blowback operation, and a quick-change barrel design. Post-war, it influenced many later submachine gun designs worldwide.

The Suomi KP/-31 Designed sound demonstration starts with three combined layers: “Start”, “Loop” and “End”. Then it plays four randomized “OneShot” sounds for close-distance fire. After that, you hear the reload sound. Next in the same demo, you hear the distant sounds. These include “Dist_Start”, “Dist_Loop” and “Dist_End” layers, followed by four random “Dist_OneShot” variations. All sounds in this preview are unprocessed, just like in the library.
