Description:
There are two main themes in the mix. Duality and contrast. We tend to speak about the world like we are not part of it. We speak to ourselves like we are divided. We think about the nature and forget we are a part of it ... and so on. We hear about the things that are happening around the world but we look the other way. We have everything but we are forever unsatisfied. We have been fed with the Western values but have forgotten about the simple things. If it doesn’t shine according to the rules that you have been taught, it must be no good. 

In the end - we pay for the optimism, not the truth.

The mix is presented in the series of edits with additional soundscapes, vocals and ambience. Inside you can find few upcoming tracks that will be released on Soundhitectures in the near future and one of my remixes that is coming out under a Russian label called SLOWDANCE.

The video explores the visualization of these thoughts and tries to capture the contrasts we are experiencing everyday. It is made from Youtube clips from two video channels which interact and represent the contrast. It's not meant to be watched in full, but it is synched with music."

It’s a gift to all listeners who have accompanied us constantly over the last two years. You can pay what you want on Bandcamp. Donations will be divided equally between the artists and Kumanga e.V.

The raga saga is a series I have started to act as a cultural collector of my favorite artists from all over, Each raga is in an array of melodic structures with musical motifs. This beautiful saga comes from Copenhagen, Denmark by the new in the scene but now everywhere @dj-flipflop

DJ FlipFlop started his musical journey on the island of Gran Canaria where he at first started playing other artists sets for his guests at his former hostel.
After DJ Koze´s best friend and former partner Cosmic DJ and other German-based DJ´s visited his hostel, he was encouraged to start making his own sets.
What started as an interest quickly became a great passion of the 20-something-year-old Viking.
After 3 years abroad, DJ FlipFlop recently relocated back to his roots in Copenhagen where he is pursuing higher education and is slowly being introduced to the right underground DJ´s in Copenhagen.
What will come next only time will tell.

Music label captivated by releasing diverse electronic music. We think about it as a living organism, always changing and figuring itself out along the way. The music we all love is the music we like to call as space music. We feel that it helps us to expand our minds and connect us together in the most brilliant ways. 

It’s not important if this happens while we are dancing our asses off or during mediation sessions. It’s always in us - and we share a part of it.  

Sometimes this means a club set, other times it’s a piece of ambient music for home listening or a music release that you can download and play in the club. Every artist is a world on its own - interconnected with others, environment, past experiences and the future that makes him/her unique. We create space to connect, honor & respect that.
