Nico Efstratiou set out to record 17 samples that would challenge producers to use them in a creative project. These included the buzz/hum generated by touching an aux, a variety of different atmospheres including a coffee shop, a blender and nearby cars. On top of that he recorded some finger tapping on different materials with different variations and lastly his own vocals.

En ellos se pueden apreciar los nuevos pasos de la corriente actual de artistas electrónicos influenciados por los sonidos y ritmos de Latinoamérica. 

El compilado propone un soundtrack ideal para atardeceres o amaneceres en islas desiertas, tomando inspiración de ritmos ancestrales, bajos electrónicos y producciones recientes con una mentalidad de  “música sin fronteras”.

Fertil discos is a newly born argentinean label, based in Buenos Aires. We are pleased to announce our most recent compilation, divided in two separate albums -one representing the Day, the other gathering Night sounds. Both records illustrate the new steps of the new wave of South America’s electronic artists, influenced by the sounds and rythms of our continent.

The compilation proposes you an ideal soundtrack for sunrises/sunsets on desert islands, drawing inspiration from ancient rhythms, electronic bass lines, and recent productions with a world music mindset.

Both volumes put together danceable songs like “Animal Estrella” (Pol Nada & El Remolón) and “Periferia” (Paisandoom); folktronic compositions like “Tejido” (Jin Yerei feat. Kona); slow techno songs like “Orobon” (Barda) and talented electronic compositions like “Dialogue” (Tomanka) and “Galata” (Santi) among other undiscovered gems.

Matias Chilano returns to the label with more silky smooth progressive vibes on the ‘Red Line’ EP.

2019 was a good year for Matias, will releases for Balkan Connection, Soundteller, Onedotsixtwo and more, plus a coveted addition to the Patrice Baumel Global Underground mix, the first City Series compilation in 4 years. To add to this, he’s had a busy year of gigs and strong support from Spotify, so 2020 looks like it’ll be even bigger. 

Opening with ‘Red Line’ we are quickly whisked away with rolling bass and hats, underpinned by surefooted kicks. Bass pressure increases organically as soundscape pads glisten on this new school meets old groovathon. ‘Watergate’ follows apace. Tribal rhythms from the outset make way for a strong percussive underbelly and delicate sonics. Mind music at its devastating finest. Finally, ‘Analog Ghosts’ rounds out a fascinating triple-header. Powerful and melodic, the ethereal vocals and 80s-inspired pads create otherworldly mindscapes.

Barcelona based producer Adwer returns to his Bolygó Records imprint in 2020 with five alluring cuts entitled ‘Our Genome’ EP with remixes from Amandra and Marc Piñol.
Adwer has left his mark on the overall electronic music scene in the last few years through his melodic leaning productions that’ve picked up support from the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Joris Voorn and
Laurent Garnier. Adwer aims to capture emotion within his music with his synth focused tracks and euphoric vibrations that continue to solidify his reputation of being a purveyor of innovative sound design and gentle sonics. ‘Our Genome’ EP sees him deliver the first release of the new decade on
