KHALFA AL SHAMS is a phrase used in Syria for those who are nowhere to be found. Directly translated it means BEHIND THE SUN. 
This piece of music is one of 4 pieces within the first set of U.KUSTIK. It tells the story of SHAMI X. and his rough way from Damascus, Syria to Vienna, Austria. 
SHAMI X. wants to stay anonymous as he fears the long arm of the Syrian war and therefore we dedicate this piece to everybody who hast lost shelter, a loved one or both in this bloodiest of conflicts.
