Born in 1989, Worakls, who is in reality Kevin Rodrigues, is a French dj coming from Paris. He has begun to play music at 3 years old on piano, he has got some bands music of differents styles (rock, hard rock, bossa nova) during his teensage. He begin to produce electronic music when he was 18 years old.

 The meet of Eric Prydz lead him to be a DJ "This is him, or else his music, who make me understand that electronic music can be a very elaborated style and overall more than a punchbag". He stopped his studies completely, and work relentlessly on music, that could be more than 15hours per day. He begin to be know with his first Ep "unity", he was quote by Umek as one of the best new comer in 2009 of the minimalist techno scene.

He lunched the label "hungry music" with his mates N’to & Joachim Pator in february 2014 so the story just started...

„Wie wunderschön wäre die Welt …“. Mit diesen Worten beginnt der Titel „Wie Wunder-schön“ des modernen Chansonniers Antoine Villoutreix. Der Musiker kommt aus Paris, wohnt aber schon seit langer Zeit in Berlin. Und wie man allein schon am Namen des Songs erkennen kann, singt er nicht „nur“ auf Französisch – sondern auch auf Deutsch! Denn: Der Wahlberliner lebt und atmet inzwischen beide Kulturen.  
Und um generell diese herrliche Vielfalt an Sprachen in Europa und der Welt zu feiern, hat er sich dazu entschlossen, genau am „Internationalen Tag der Muttersprache“ (21.02.) die erste Single „Wie Wunderschön“ des Albums „Paris Berlin“ über das Label Sungroove Records zu veröffentlichen. 
Wichtig ist dem Künstler, über das Erlernen fremder Sprachen, einen Schlüssel zum gegensei-tigen Verständnis und Respekt aufzuzeigen. Und eins ist gewiss: Unsere Zeit braucht mehr denn je solche positiven Botschaften. Das Lied „Wie Wunderschön“ enthält sie, eingebettet in der universellsten aller Sprachen: der Musik!

Für unsere #130 beehrt uns diesmal unser geschätzter Freund Casimir von Oettingen, seines Zeichens heißester Exportschlager der Stadt Halle seit Kai Pflaume :)

Es gibt wirklich selten einen Künstler über den man so viele Anekdoten niederschreiben könnte, wie über den mega sympathischen Casimir von Oettingen. Seine ersten “Berührungspunkte” mit elektronischer Musik hatte er wortwörtlich schon im frühsten Jugendalter, als er sich Woche für Woche an den Türstehern des legendären Clubs “Chaise” vorbei gemogelt hatte, weil er für einen Clubbesuch eigentlich noch viel zu jung war. Doch von so etwas lässt sich ein “Schlitzohr” wie Casimir noch lange nicht aufhalten und so verwundert es auch nicht, dass er eines Tages just an gleicher Stelle seinen ersten Gig gespielt hat. Sicher kann man über diese witzige Geschichte schmunzeln, dennoch sagt sie auch sehr viel über unseren lieben “Cese” aus. 

Soundtechnisch kann man ihn einfach in keine bestimmte Schublade stecken, da sowohl sein persönlicher Geschmack als auch sein musikalisches Repertoire viel zu groß und tiefgründig sind um ihn einfach einen Stempel aufdrücken zu können. Doch eines kann man über ihn mit Sicherheit sagen…..egal wann, egal wo und egal mit wem….Casimir von Oettingen catched einen einfach immer und immer wieder. Sein emotionales Feingefühl für die richtige Musik und sein Gespür für Ort, Raum & Zeit sind einfach phänomenal, genau wie sein Afterhour - Set mit einer fluffigen und bunten Mischung aus HipHop, Electro Trash und zeitgenössischer elektronischer Musik. 

Wir wünschen euch nun mit seinem Meisterwerk beste Unterhaltung und möchten uns an dieser Stelle auch nochmals ganz herzlich bei unserem lieben Casimir für sein Afterhour - Set bedanken.
