We always say "this one was for the books" after every Snoopy Island gathering, but honestly this one really was special.

Seeing everyone arrive on Friday morning early before the event, checking in and heading straight to the beach for music & life after being cooped up for almost two years, just demonstrates the human spirit is resilient and thrives on sacred frequencies. 

We are innately built to heal and grow in the presence of natural frequencies.

AFROTRACE has an eclectic style deeply rooted in African origins, culturally refined by the Romanian underground house music scene, and tuned to the familiar melodies of the jungle. His soundscape holds an aspect of storytelling, presented in a harmonious blend of afrohouse, downtempo, melodic house and techno.

Currently he resides in Los Angeles, CA where he shares his never-ending passion for sound, at some of the landmark venues in the city. Mythes et Legendes | Halloween in Brooklyn 2022

This year I took on The Junkyard stage at Lightening in a Bottle for a beautiful set that was filled with dancefloor fire. I saw the crowd grow and grow as each track went on. The floor was packed by the end of my set and a roar occurred when it was time for me to get off. What a feeling rocking a dancefloor at an EPIC festival. Here is my set from that night. Hola Dreamy Souls,

Narkbeat and I are happy to host our Narratives’ close friend and Tulum-based DJ Silvio Saade, it’s an emotional collaboration for me personally (Alaa) as Silvio and I started our music Journey together, not so long ago and fortunately, we remained working with the same musical frequency,  this chapter that we curated B2B is a Latino-Afro feel-good expedition to the Caribbean jungle and back • it is a genre-hybrid mix of Melodic instrumental tunes and Deep House grooves, wrapped around a scoliotic Organic spine • briefly, not a dull moment:)

On the visual art side, we are grateful to have collaborated with a special delicate talent, Urban Gypsy (Danya). as a product designer and artist, Danya enjoys mixing disciplines together to create fun and playful works that have layers of texture and dimension. For her, she goes by the philosophy of more is more. She uses a lot of detailing in her work, As she finds it creates a powerful visual statement and you can continue to find new perspectives in it every time you view the work.
