Hi-hat-heavy and driving percussion sets the tone on both tracks here. While the title track fully orients itself towards the dancefloor, the second half of the EP, ‘Jonty’s Theme’ likes to play a little bit more with contrast, and adds just a dash of moody strings and melodramatic vibes. Altogether, a worthy soundtrack for the dawn of spring.

Maezbi, who previously made waves on the label with his highly successful Wonderland, once again showcases his distinct melodic sensibility and ability to merge warmth with hypnotic grooves.
