original music -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPEBxjg9rsw  French new age composer Laurent Dury -- who uses live instrumentation (including piano, horns, strings, and woodwinds) in his music in addition to synthesizers -- began his career in England, writing songs for the Oxford Press as well as for British television. After he returned to France in 1998, Dury signed to Origins/Terra Humana and soon released his debut, Sophrologie, Vol. 1: Conscience et Harmonie. In 2000 Zen Vol. 1: Chin Den Chin came out, which was followed by five releases the next year, including Le Jardin d'Alice and Les Trésors d'Ali. In 2003, his song "Silk Road" was on Vol. V of the popular Buddha-Bar series. Dury continued his trend of issuing multiple albums in one year in 2004, when he released Musique de Soins: Osteopathie, Musique de Soins: Reiki, Musique de Soins: Sophrologie, and Qi Gong.

Commoner is a passionate producer and DJ whose inspiration originates in the dust of outdoor music festivals and the sand of Kenyan beaches. Since he began his sonic quest in 2017, he has sought to create and play an uplifting, unique style of mid-tempo, organic, deep tribal dance music.
His production garnered some very early success with multiple releases on Lump Records, Stil vor Talent’s and A Tribe Called Kotori compilation series alongside far more established artists including Oliver Koletzki, Acid Pauli, Be Svendsen, Monolink, Nu, Nicola Cruz, and BLOND:ISH.

Commoner’s reputation as a crowd-unifying tribal DJ has led him to play on some of the world’s most vibrant outdoor festival stages including Oregon Eclipse in the USA, Noisily Festival in the UK, and Kilifi New Year in Kenya. He aims to include at least one sample from each continent in every DJ set so you can expect to be taken on a wandering and evocative journey through faraway lands. Enjoy!
