like the water and air around the earth, our level of energy and mood change with the seasons. after 5 years of non stop travelling I decided to spend the whole month of october in İstanbul, not going anywhere, to pace down a little, a pitstop to take care of unfinished work, reconnect with family and friends, focus on my self, ground and get the energy from the earth to rise upon the roots, flourish and inspire. 

as much as I love traveling, discovering new landscapes and cities, meeting new people, I love the cosy atmosphere of home, homecooked meals, a little bit of laziness and the comfort of friends and family that I know for a long time. 

this mix is for the ones who wish to spend some time at home this fall. i recorded it at home this weekend, while i was chilling with friends, with some tea, some candles and incents with a lovely istanbul view. 

it's not perfect, lots of weird moments when you listen to it:) i just wanted to share that sense of "home" where you can be cosy and don't care how you present yourself.

Die Sprache bahnt sich ihre Strecke bis in den angesprochen Verstand.
Zerfällt... vielmehr zerläuft sie in ihre molekularen Einzelteile.
Verkünder und Adressat treten in Resonanz.
Sprache ist sowohl Vermittler als auch Träger der Mitteilung
Musik ist auch nur eine Form von Sprache?

Our elenth episode welcomes Philip Chedid. Noted for his versatility and musical range, Philip attributes much of his influences to his Middle Eastern heritage and western upbringing. Known for his unmistakable sound, Philip's DJ sets and productions are rich with groovy hypnotic melodies and driving basslines. In his young years, Philip played in a few bands with his brother Julien and some high school mates, performing as musical act Elemental. Much of Philip's early nightlife experience began in the late 90s in Montreal at various events, many hosted by 514 Productions, Sona and Redlite. Over the years, he began working more frequently in the studio on original productions and remixes, and further developed his audio engineering skills. Currently, Philip resides in Los Angeles and is focusing on music production and developing the imprint Endless Sands of Time.

"My Live recorded mix from polish festival Wisloujscie, which is dedicated only for local artists. Based in old fortress in Gdansk in the north of the country.
With the amazing decors, art installations, and unique location makes this event very special. In addition the sunshine through the forest and the happy faces through the masks, that where able to go out after a long time and enjoy music was what made my show more exciting. It all came spontaneous and from the energy I was getting off from the people. I am so happy to be part of it due to all those circumstances we all have."
