PREMIERE: Cristina Lazic — Mirror (Original Mix) [Rebellion]

Had the pleasure to be invited to play at the Sakanat Festival in the Fayoum Desert on Friday March 25th 2022. Incredible vibe with some incredible people & DJ's - 42 hours on non-stop music. Thank you to everyone that was involved and that showed up!

Born in Romania to live by its rich culture, raised in a very artistic family and using
all kinds of art as a form of expression.Persic is a Bucharest-based DJ that at his early 20’s got passionate about electronic music and established himself in the world of house & techno . It begins in the underground scene in the year 2007 when he moved to Ibiza for several years, where he got involved in the island party scene, fusing his musical assertiveness that allowed him to be recognized and appreciated.

Playing at prominent events and venues like SUNWAVES Fest(Romania&Zanzibar), CAPRICE Festival (Crans-Montana,Switzerland), SAGA Festival(Bucharest,Romania),just to name a few, flourished his music career and his name quickly thrived in the scene.

With further appearances on instigating labels like Teknomore, Nomevea, Flashmob, Opak records where he validate his musicalbackground and his own rhythm stamp . His evolving taste captures the sensibility of house music by bringing together deep-tech minimal sound mixed into a solid singular groove texture that is always leaded by a strong and hard baseline. With a truly unique technique,he’s experimenting and mixing up different music styles,always aiming to convert the music to fit his own form which results an specific impressive signature sound.

Cristina Lazic flexes her production skills on Rebellion. Following her first EP on the imprint called Burning, the shesaid.so affiliate delivers a minimal techno-flavoured EP titled Personal. She teams up with Italian-born vocalist Shar to pen a beautiful, dancefloor-driven EP, conveying emotive vocals paired with smooth and sleek production.

Lazic describes the root of Personal. "I consider 'Personal' a nice sequel to my previous EP on Rebellion," she says. "'Like 'Burning,' it includes a variety of genres and moods. In particular, the three tracks recorded with Shar—whom I met thanks to shesaid.so—continue my exploration of the concept of women empowerment—which is very important and "personal" to me, through the metaphors of time, controversy and self-reflection."

The title track opens with a robust bassline and stripped-back percussive elements, allowing Shar's sultry vocals to ripple through the soundscape. You And Me feat. Shar comes next, with an upbeat melody that slinks between understated drums. A slow-burning, sexy number that's perfect for an after-hours session. Like the title suggests, Feel The Groove is the ultimate groover. Lazic illustrates it as a "groovy track with a male voice that wants to convey a happy, minimal deep mood, and nicely complements the other three tracks." Closing tune Mirror (Set Opener) feat. Shar stems from the Burning EP. On the Personal version, Lazic pens a purring bassline and acid-tinged synth notes, delivering an ideal dancefloor warmer-upper.

Born in Milan but raised in London, Cristina Lazic started out playing the piano as a child and has since evolved into an electronic artist in demand. The shesaid.so member has released on several esteemed imprints, including Crosstown Rebels' Rebellion, Bondage Music and Creature Records. As a DJ, she combines dark and sultry techno with uplifting house textures, rumbling the walls of Hï Ibiza, Magazzini Generali in Milan and Le Salon Daomé in Montreal. Cristina hosts frequent radio shows on Ibiza Global and Sonica and leads the parenthood committee of shesaid.so, focusing on safeguarding the interest of artists with children. Despite balancing multiple roles, including a job in tech and motherhood, music remains centric to Lazic's output. Born in Italy but raised in California, Shar is a songwriter, ghostwriter and presenter on Ibiza Sonica. Based between Ibiza and London, she runs the soon-to-be-released online platform weareunlabeled.com in addition to her production company called UNLABELED THINKING.

Superfancy is back. For the start of the year 2016 is an absolut classic tune from Funkwerkstatt with fresh remixes via Superfancy Recordings on his way to your trustworthy record dealer. "Melodie fr Millionen", originally released on the label 3000 Records, will now be released with the original track plus two remixes on Funkwerkstatt's label. To start with Anthik, wich has already released on Suara and Go deeva Records, in collaboration with Felipe Puertes. The two swiss guys transform the track into an absolut modern clubmonster. A catchy bassline, up beat arpeggiator sounds paired with timeless vocals turn this remix into a weapon for ever dancefloor.The second remix comes from the two berlin locals Dole & Kom, members of the 3000 community. Their upperdisco Dub is a little bit more relaxed and changes the track into a timless warm deephouse-chordmonster. The track will blow up every afterhour dancefloor in the early morning.
