"Ghenwa & Laila” is a Lebanese duo composed of musician Ghenwa NemNom and Dj Laila Sarkis, aka Djette. The two started a collaboration in 2020 and cultivated their signature sound by fusing the traditional Qanun (an Arabic string instrument and descendant of the old Egyptian harp) with deep electronic dance rhythms.

Ghenwa joined the National Lebanese Conservatory at eight years old, where she learned to master the Qanun. She continued her artistic journey at Oakland University in Michigan a decade later. Ghenwa is challenging the status quo and paving the way for an instrument that may be considered old-fashioned and limited to the traditional oriental music scene.

Djette has been making noise on the Beirut Dj scene since the early 2000s; she is notorious for her smile, good energy, and wide music selection. Djette is also a co-founder of Beirut’s legendary “Cotton Candy” party. She has held multiple club residencies over the decades in The Basement, Centrale, The Grand Factory, Garten, Skybar and Iris, to name a few.

As a duo, “Ghenwa & Laila” successfully crafted a unique musical experience for their audience in the SWANA region. Their heart is now set on taking this project West. The duo also aspires to inspire young girls in their region to pursue their artistic dreams.

With his profile rising in the Emirates, he became an high-demand DJ, performing at the most exclusive events aroud the world like Monaco Grand Prix Official Afterparty, Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix After Parties and Cannes Film Festival Official Afterparty.

A producer with a growing reputation, with EPs recently released on labels like Bar25, All Day I Dream, Pipe & Pochet, Bercana Music and Coya Music, his music has been strongly supported by Lee Burridge , Lost Dessert , Blondish and many others.

His latest single signed on "Bar25" gained unexpected hype in the Electronic Music industry, proving that Alex Twin continues to do all the right things in his growing DJ and production career.

Hola Dreamy Souls,

Narkbeat and I are happy to host our Narratives’ close friend and Tulum-based DJ Silvio Saade, it’s an emotional collaboration for me personally (Alaa) as Silvio and I started our music Journey together, not so long ago and fortunately, we remained working with the same musical frequency,  this chapter that we curated B2B is a Latino-Afro feel-good expedition to the Caribbean jungle and back • it is a genre-hybrid mix of Melodic instrumental tunes and Deep House grooves, wrapped around a scoliotic Organic spine • briefly, not a dull moment:)

On the visual art side, we are grateful to have collaborated with a special delicate talent, Urban Gypsy (Danya). as a product designer and artist, Danya enjoys mixing disciplines together to create fun and playful works that have layers of texture and dimension. For her, she goes by the philosophy of more is more. She uses a lot of detailing in her work, As she finds it creates a powerful visual statement and you can continue to find new perspectives in it every time you view the work.
