A quite lengthy improv, made on a snowy day at home.

Music on a Snowy Day

Third single with sound artist Hanne Raffnsøe. This one is a pretty long improvised spoken word flow in Danish, Swedish, German and Arabic - all held sublimely together by Hanne. I deliver a background of noisy DFAM-percussionish sounds and musical remarks on the Haken Continuumini. Releases Feb. 1, 2023 on all streaming services.

My third concert in Berlin in 2023 - October 17 at Hosek Contemporary. This time a solo set, playing around with Yamaha Reface CP, Drumkid from Matt Bradshaw and Cosmos from Soma. 
I was invited to play the first set and kind of warm up for Ste van Holm & friends - thanks for inviting me 😊 Their sound engineer, Jens, recorded the music.

One Hour Minimal

This track was originally improvised with the inspiration from hexagram 2 in "I ching", the book of changes, and as such intended to be part of an I ching-album. But today I felt that it was not about the Receiving, but more specifically about receiving the autumn that has just come to Denmark, so here it is under a new title.

Labyrinth Apprentice

Improvisation in three parts, recorded in 2021 on my Prophet XL from Sequential. Three easily distinguishable parts, played on three complex, orchestral patches, put together in a suite of timeless minimalism. The three parts were originally titled Purple, Yellow and Azure (0.00, 12.07 and 22.22)
I imagined that I would add more parts, colors, but I never really got back to the same mood, so I deleted the video on YouTube, remastered the file and released it as an EP.

SoundOkapi is a Danish sound artist known for his distinct blend of minimal music, ambient, micro house, noise, and experimental genres. 
Synths, augmented by guitar pedals and loopers, are central to his eclectic sound, which also includes his own vocals. Collaborating with other sound artists like Hanne Raffnsøe and Berlin-based trio Pausa a Pausa, SoundOkapi has performed in Danish churches, festivals, and Berlin venues. 
Trained originally as a classical organist, he transitioned to experimental electronic music, exploring improvisation and innovative techniques, marking a new chapter in his musical journey.
