This started as an improvisation with a Roland Jupiter 80 preset. Then it was fleshed out over time while learning to use Reaper.
In August/September 2022 i redid the drumtrack with percussion samples and learned how to tune drum samples. This version also has adjusted volume and pan envelopes.

Recorded with my ancient Cakewalk SONAR Home Studio 6 program, using my likewise ancient Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum soundcard.

Using every 1980s soundtrack cliché there is.
Mostly an exercise in learning to use bus routing in Reaper DAW along with controlling several VSTs from a single MIDI file to create a drum track.
Also the Jupiter80 has up to four voices in a setting, each of which can be played individually by selecting the correct MIDI channel. Recording each voice in a setting separately allows using pan to split them between left/right channels per desire.
