Soundpersecond Records presents the EP “BON VOYAGE " gathering four tracks from DERIU, a new talented italian Techno producer. The project tries to mix together and interpret the sound of the Techno in multiple ways. The EP’s title track “Bon Voyage” is a 10 minutes hypno trip in the Dub Techno world in which DERIU himself added keyboards, sequences, pads and glitches to reach an even deeper atmosphere. #2 " GOOD LUCK " is a dancefloor-killing track where the producer, once again, shows all his own attitudes towards this music scene.  #3 “MUSIC FREEDOM” goes back to the Dub Techno atmosphere, with a great use of the sampled vox and a superb bassline mashed up with a wicked percs construction.
#3 “Outside The Box” is probably the stronger track of the EP, with a killer baseline and hypno synth percussions, will make you dance 'till you drop.
No doubt….DERIU could be one of the outstanding newcomers on the Techno scene

Science Of Existence  (Haldo Re-Touch Mix)

The new Soundpersecond Records release is by producer duo, FACE OFF, who serve up a rousing triple-header of their "No One Else" single. Complex and accomplished in each one of the three versions, they offer the original sensuous intuition of the composition through three wonderfully different perspectives. The "Original Vision Mix" is a deep techno vocal workout featuring the blue eyed vocals of Missourian, Berlin based vocalist, Ian Fisher. The track fully delivers its pay off when the multi-layered vocals of the chorus —so close to the more visionary side of 70s prog— lock in step with the the sequencers and the rhythm construction turning the piece into a small scale opus. The "Re-Vision Mix" veers off into something darker with its use of filtered percussions, glitches and the time-streched segments that turn the track into an extended hypnotic masterclass clocking in at over eight minutes. Last but not least, the “Other Vision Mix” is a chubby chunk of gurgling ambience enticing other artists, thanks to the sparse highlighting of the vocal track, to take a stab at reimagining and reinventing the original intuition. Face Off’s genius on this track was grandly augmented with Hannes Bieger’s amazing mix work and Calyx Studio’s world class mastering effort, both so determinant in the overall sound of the track as to indeed require a special shout out.

 With a somewhat closer to the classic Chicago House , "Hands Up" has a house drumming with infectious, rubbery kick and airy hi hats, snare fills and stop and go typical of the 
'90's. A killer bass line rides up and down to the mix to give a great charm to the groove. Vocals add fire and complete this cut and it could guarantee to become a massive anthem on the dance floor. To complete the package the "Late Night Techno Remix" for those who want and have a bit dark and deep approach. This track it builds with real tension and will lock the listeners for sure.

If for their first release Face Off had shown up with a rich and enveloping vocal melody, this time while not leaving their sense of melody behind they come forward with two instrumentals that wear their pathos on their sleeve, capable of turning heads both in the club or on some sunny beach. Thing is that these two tunes wouldn't be too out of place in a large 19th century palatial dancehall. The project title "Clock & Waltz" is just that complete. "The Clock" has a scanned time-signature given by a swung jazz drum track that travels over a warm bassline and a penetrating keyboard arrangement that reminds one immediately of the coiled complexity of a clock's mechanisms. And if that wasn't enough the snares feel as though they are moving like a clock's seconds hand, relentless and unending. "The Waltz" is a metaphor for what was the dance step par-excellence in the past centuries, but the feeling of listening to the music of the Danube in an electronic form is certainly evocative and doesn't lack ambitious suggestions. The lightness of the waveform synthesizer melody of the bass notes and the strings contrasts with the insistent keyboard line that leaves room for one to imagine a noble man and his lady gliding in the air. As always the Berliner Calyx Studio's world class mastering effort, is so determinant in the overall sound of the Face Off's tracks.

Moldavian DJ and producer Bogard marks his first release under the Soundpersecond flag with the pulsing and fluctuating "Sub Flutes", a proper analog based deep techno with a powerful driving bassline and a hypnotic sequenced flute motif, followed by an awesome dub mix. We don't want to say much more about this release, but it's precisely how one can shake and destroy a dance floor. So, welcome Bogard in the Soundpersecond Records family. He's right at home in the label that started and wants to continue to push that raw analogue sound around the world.

Odi et Amo chose their name in reference to an oxymoron present in a poem by Catullus. Born and raised in Venice, the city where lovers hide behind their carnival masks and appear menacing rather than soothing, the duo of producers are making their debut with a double header of introspective tracks that really deserve to be given proper attention. "Delphi" is a deep techno strut drenched in a gothic atmosphere. The track is constructed around a deep harmonic build and the incessant cry of a child used as a vocal pad. The track moves subtly with swirls of polyrhytmic arpeggios the inject the tune with a magic brew capable of turning your head in a disarray. "Pythia" is even darker, fully locked and loaded into bass kick and percussion swing overlaid on a melody built on a harp phrase that brings up memories of new agey atmospheres, suggestions of Vollenweider's 'Caverna Magica'.
