With ‚Illesnoise vs. Juli Holz’ we present a split-EP by two young ladies, who masterfully know their craft. 

During the past years, Illesnoise has made a name for herself in the Dutch scene as an unerring DJ with a distinctive feel for flow and melody. With ‘Nova’ she now celebrates her production debut. The result emphasises the maturity, which only a schooled DJ can bring to the table, as an enveloping bass-line glides through an arrangement of harmonic synth-bells and an emotive vocal loop. On his techno-leaning remix, Oliver Koletzki ups the tempo and focuses on peak-time atmospherics. 
	
After a teasing hiatus, we are glad to welcome back Juli Holz, who has exchanged the emotional cotton candy for an altogether darker dance-floor-aesthetic. ‘Drive’ captivates by way of deep sawtooth bass and, of course, Juli’s brilliantly distinct voice, which can be heard here in the most diverse facets. Kind of leftfield, but marvellously danceable. Lastly, Dan Caster delivers a driving remix of epic proportions. Girl Power!

“Striker” – so heisst die neue EP von Ron Flatter, die vor allem eines zerschlagen soll: die Discokugeln im Club. “Die Ideen für die EP habe ich aus allen Bereichen zusammengetragen, die mich beeinflussen. Darum ist die EP auch so abwechslungsreich”, so der Musikproduzent aus Halle an der Saale. Das Original-Werk der 3-Track-EP wirkt harmonisch, aber auch zeitgleich ziemlich wild. “Der Track “Off” ist dagegen ein Techno-Track, der so viel Energie hat, dass er dich im Break mitreist und nach dem Break zerreißt”, erklärt Flatter. “Mela”, die letzte Nummer der Kollektion, ist eher etwas für den Anfang oder das Ende. Electronic music group, SoloWg have teamed up with Leonard Bywa for this hot new single on Soundplate Records. This is the first SoloWg single since their critaically acclaimed album dropped in May.

The track came together when SoloWg & Leonard Bywa were preparing their set for Dockville Festival in Hamburg. It was the night before the festival and after spending some time considering tracks and building a rough set list they felt like something was missing. A sleepless night in the studio later, Docks’ was born. 

‘Docks’ was the opening track of their set at the festival and when they saw the huge reaction it got from the crowd they knew it was only a matter of time before it had to be released. 

We are really excited to share this great track with you and also pleased to welcome Shacklo back to Soundplate Records who completes the package with a massive underground remix, made for the dancefloor.

Kuukou head Simina Grigoriu steps up to the plate for her label’s 9th release with "Makibishi", a no-nonsense three tracker including one original banger and two trippy remixes.

Melancholic pads and reverbed arpeggiators are the focal points of "Wille zum Wahnsinn’s" take on "Makibishi". The duo, comprising of Max Manie and Simon Panosch, prove a penchant for winding melodies and crafting intense momentums. 

Along with the initial "Makibishi" incursion, the EP offers up highly versatile reconstructions with alternating moods to fit any floor vibe, so long as it’s inherently and undoubtedly a tech infused affair.
