🇫🇷 Ayant rejoint le Collectif SoundRising à ses balbutiements et étant partie prenante du Label depuis sa genèse, c’est enfin le retour du producteur Low-K sur SoundRising Records, avec son tout nouvel EP Say No More en featuring avec le MC et ami de longue date : Bobby Surround. 

Après avoir mené de front plusieurs projets - on nommera entre autres Diztone, sa composition en duo avec Victor Newman -, il aura fallu 7 ans à Low-K (en fait, depuis sa dernière sortie sur SoundRising) pour revenir sur le devant de la scène avec un EP bien revigorant comme on les aime chez SoundRising. Amateur.trice.s de Drum&Bass, on ne saurait que trop vous conseiller d’aller vous délecter de ce nectar composé de trois morceaux puissants, oscillant entre dark rollers et ambiances atmosphériques, empruntant volontiers des rythmiques au hip- hop et regorgeant des basses grognantes. Bref, un must have à ajouter dans toute collection de bass music addict.

Microcosmos presents the debut album of Translippers, “Herbalism”. This tincture of magic herbs will take you on a trip around the world in one hour.

The perfectly mixed dub rhythm will relax your body, and the atmospheric electronica will inspire you. Prepare yourself to discover an entrancing blend of cultures through distinct flavors of Scandinavian and African drums, ethno-jazz vocals, chants of Miao from China and Chukchi from Yakutsk, Eastern and Latin American percussions, Indian sitar and Arabic oud, guitar, and harmonica.

Translippers is a project of Arthur Mustafin, a composer and music performer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. In 1984 he gained experience in jazz and rock-n-roll bands, but this changed with his trip to India, where he seriously got into ethnical instruments. This led to Arthur incorporating these instruments into his own production, which significantly transformed his sound. 

As said by author himself, this album is an intricate attempt to return to childhood.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the deep flavor of “Herbalism”.
