2TOOTH – Again and Again

This was the first track that kicked off my weekly series — and I think it still captures something honest I didn’t fully plan.

I was just trying to make something simple, lo-fi, and smooth… but what came out was this slow, emotional loop that felt like memory. Like when you keep replaying something in your head — not because you want to, but because it’s stuck there. A feeling, a moment, a person. Again and again.

It’s built around soft R&B chords, a steady beat, and subtle vocal layers — male to female — that shift like the voice in your own mind. You don’t really notice the change at first, but it hits when it’s supposed to.

The groove doesn’t shout. It just moves. There’s no big chorus, no massive drop — just mood. And that’s kind of what I wanted: a song that stays with you without asking for attention.

I made it using a combination of tools, mostly just following the vibe more than a plan. Letting the track decide where it was going. And I think that’s what makes it work — it’s imperfect, emotional, and real.
