I caught up an old man walking around in Paharganj playing this little Rawan Hattha an old folk rajasthani instrument with one string kind of violin. I ended up buying one and sending home - should sample that string properly and put up here! :)

Occasionally I like to get my field recorder out and start capturing. Quite a few times with my eyes closed trying to imagine what's going on around me - this just leaves a lot of room to imagine and translate them in other sound or visual narratives. Most importantly, it's way more fun than knowing exactly where those sounds are coming from. I primarily do this for my own, to use on my sound design and on my music productions but never thought about giving away. I am currently travelling around and might come across some interesting situations worth of a capture. 
Here's what i'm doing: 
1) I will be processing these to a minimum so the samples are clean enough for you to do your own sound mangling.
2) I will eventually process them through some effects, some custom max4live units and other crazy shit I have in my bag that will heavily alter these to a degree that they might not be recognisable :) 

NOTE: sound quality will obviously vary depending on the situations. My gear is simple but hopefully will provide you with enough quality for several uses.
