A really special session. Feels very intimate.

The patient build up of sounds until this point is so serene and I love this little explosion of sounds to  cap it off.

Atmospheric and expressive. I would pay good money to see this in a live setting. It tells a story. The layers are exceptional.

Improv at it's finest. Will any of these sounds make it onto a release?

Wonderful. One would never guess that this wasn't recorded in the middle of the night in some quiet, serene country setting (bird chatter not withstanding).

I recorded a live jam of all brand new and improvised music using a studio set up of various synths, drone modulars, loops, a piano, a tenori-on and a wee bit of guitar with a delay pedal board and loop station.  
I also used some various field recordings I recorded that morning.  
I recorded 30 minutes of improv, then went outside for a cigarette and recorded some of the birds and nature in the area. Thought it would be nice to use that in the middle of the mix and then another 25 minutes of improv :)
