Written between Chicago and New York throughout 2023, 'Plateau' is a lacework of chiller dub-techno and ambient sparkle, crafted via recorded material, astute sampling, and live instrumentation. Rounded off with a stellar remix from your favourite ambient boyband (Purelink), this record is one for the serial unwinders.

Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus, better known as Basic Channel are the center of this episode. Expect to learn about and listen to their many projects and how dub techno came to be. It is a pick by Pascal trying to infiltrate a genre that is clearly Linda's (bb:fm) hometurf.

Mapping is a show about discovering the musical world centered around a track Linda (@bb_fm) or Pascal (paschko) pick for each episode. Together they dive into the samples, the labels, artists and collaborators.
Depending on the chosen song, the show can either be a detailed exploration of its immediate surroundings, or it serves as a starting point for a journey, navigating from one node to the next, delving deep into connected artists and genres. Either way, a mapping of the title track is given.

Lasse Winkler alias ACUD gelangte über Umwege zu dem Sound, der ihn heute ausmacht. In seiner Jugend fing er, inspiriert von Alben wie Torch’s „Blauer Samt“, mit dem Schreiben von Rap-Texten und dem Musizieren am Rechner an. Das erste Mal „Extrawelt“ hören, das erste „Fusion Festival“ gingen jedoch nicht spurlos an ihm vorbei. Zuerst mit dem Duo „Beatmörtelz“, jetzt alleine als „ACUD“, sieht er die treibende Kraft stets in mal episch großflächigen, mal knarzend verzerrten Melodieläufen. Immer wieder ertönt in seinen Tracks auch seine klare Stimme, die einen wichtigen Part in seiner Musik einnimmt. 2012 gründete er zusammen mit ein paar Artgenossen das Label KELLER, spezialisiert auf „visuelle“ Tanzmusik.
