Making a name for yourself in the American frontier is no small task. Between clans of deadly outlaws and the feverish heat of the sun, only those stubborn few possess enough grit to make a life out here.

This track is meant to accompany a night time campfire in a western themed tabletop RPG. It works well when layered with an ambient buzz of crickets and other night time forest insects. Although the floaty, meterless intro was made to reflect those hazy minutes before one drifts to sleep, this track could also be used for any somber situation that needs some Western flavor.

In 1964, renowned novelist Roald Dahl authored one of the most well-known pieces of literature of all time— Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. His work was eventually adapted to film as the highly acclaimed and beloved Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. These stories have inspired generations of children and adults to imagine the impossible; and was the inspiration for a surreal, chocolate-factory dungeon within a homebrew tabletop RPG.
Pure Imagination (Light) is the first out of a two-part atmospheric series. The 2 tracks are reflective of two particular scenes in the film, as well as both sides of the human imagination: the potential for innovative, creative thought and fear as a crucible for hatred, isolation, and nightmares. 
This track was inspired by the reveal of Wonka’s largest room where fields of chocolate fruit grow plentifully beyond a cascading waterfall of frothy chocolate.

Crystalline Caverns | Music

The Bermuda Triangle is one of the most notorious regions of the world where many seafaring vessels and aircraft alike have gone inexplicably missing. As such, it makes a great setting for an ambience track that features the paranormal sounds of a trip through a tropical storm within the Bermuda Triangle.

This track was created for a stormy sea voyage in which the players witness St. Elmo’s fire—a phenomenon where coronal discharge becomes visible in the atmosphere, similar to the northern lights. Magical sounds accompany the blast of these discharges, as does the sounds of the tremors created on the ship.

It seems that everyone who’s anyone has come to mingle, drink expensive wine, and idly nibble on hors d’oeuvres. Those who make a good impression with the king are likely to earn themselves a few favors before the night has ended…

This track was made to simulate the ambience of a high brow social event in a European style royal court. The chatter of the nobles, the sounds of dinner being eaten, and more can be heard.  Next week a MIDI chamber orchestra will perform an original composition, Sarabanda di Secchione, which will be integrated within this ambient track.
