Upsampled to 88.2KHz, Mixed on Pro Tools 10 through Folcrom summing mixer. Sample replaced kick drum, sample enhanced snare drum.  I used a lot of plugins, including things by UAD, Soundtoys, DMG Audio, Waves, Kush Audio, Slate Digital, Lexicon, and more.  

I went with a more or less simple approach, trying to make the mix the best it could be, with the elements given, apart from the kick and snare.  I did a couple of little flourishes for some ear candy, such as the ping-pong delay on the single word lines at the beginning of the verses, and sending the vocals through a distorted AMS style delay using Soundtoys' Little Microshift during the choruses.  The UAD Little Labs VOG plugin was great for pulling the toms out of the overheads track for the ending, and giving a little extra beef to the bass and kick sample.
