This is my entry for the Fast Music competition at The Gathering 2016. Made in four hours with a sample and 4 chourds that had to be used. It got the 2nd place.

This is my submission for The Fearless Few challenge #10.
The challenge was as follows:
"Make a song using ONLY:
1) an audio recording of an animal (not including humans) that you recorded yourself.
2) two utensils, food items, or appliances from the kitchen.  
3) your OWN voice. 
*if you want to leave out one of the above you can, for example if you really really hate your voice just do 1 and 2.
*if you can't get your hands on an animal, you may cheat and use a recording of one from elsewhere, but you will lose a tiny amount of respect. 
*feel free to edit, cut and paste, and add effects/filters/etc to these audio recordings as much you like. transform them into new sounds as much as you like.
*use as many layers as you like, make it as long or as short as you like, make the music in any genre.
*NO actual instruments, and NO MIDI or synths.
*you have until next Friday 10th March."

I skipped the animal sound and went with my own voice, a wine glass and a wooden spoon.
All drums, pads and singing(obviously) is my voice, and the drone,
the violin-isj sounds and "bell!-ish sound is the wine glass.
I only uset the wooden spoon to hit the glass.

I wanted the tune to be beautiful, but at the same time a little unconfortable and evoke the feeling of sorrow. The dissonant tones are there for a reason. Enjoy!

This is my submission for The Fearless Few challenge #11.
The challenge was as follows:
" I put together some samples for you to play with.
All samples are recorded from my modularsynth, or with a microphone. I even played some flute.

The challange is quite simple, but it requires some work.
You need to make a song using ONLY the samples I provided, but you may use them as you want. Any genre.
You have to chop them up to get anything out of them. Load them into samplers and plugins, and put some effects on them, I don't care as long as the original source is the sample.
Spend no more than 2-3 hours making the song. It's OK to spend some extra time to chop up the samples, tho.
No time limit on the length of the finished product.

The samples are as follows:
ARPish.wav - An randomized synth arp.
BOOMKASHTISH.wav - A bass drum, snare drum and HH-sample.
Chords.wav - 4 chords with two sound settings.
Cocio bottle and a flute.wav - Pretty much what it says.
Cymbal.wav - A cymbal.
Dinky's Taiko.wav - Some crazy synthesized percussion.
Harscillator.wav - Another oscillator. Tweaked while recorded.

Chop 'em up!

All samples are recorded in C and in 90bpm to make it a bit easier, but i URGE you to use a different bpm.

I did not have a plan when I started. I made the sample pack, but did it in kind of a rush, and was not very happy with it. Bigger challange, I guess.

I started chopping things up, and mixing the drums and percussion.
Then I used the chords pitched and combined to make some sort of chord progression. Used the Harshcillator-sample to find some dirty places, and then ended up with the "dubsteppy" sound. Spent a little bit over 2 hours.
