The 62nd vurt podcast features a 90-minute vinyl DJ set from Rosillon, a deep techno DJ artist based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Rosillon is a vinyl only DJ from Rotterdam, and co-founder of the event organization Embodiment. 
Combining influences and inspirations from a wide variety of music, Rosillon has developed an authentic and conceptual approach to reach his audience. He seamlessly blends elements varying from lush ambient pads, and abstract droning textures, to complex and more straightforward rhythms. 
 His choice to DJ using vinyl only fits this artistic approach and allows him to make people more aware of the beauty and the commitment it takes to play this audio format in a digital era.

We are super thrilled to announce we have reached a great milestone in our DSS journey. We'd like to thank everyone who joined and supported our project during the past years. On to the next 100!

Proud to present DSS 100, brought with care by Pianeti Sintetici, a conceptual concept by Davide Perrone (Primal Code). It draws inspiration from the factories of Magrathea, a planet in Douglas Adams' classic space opera The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where artificial planets are manufactured on commission.

Davide says. "I like to imagine the howls of creatures inhabiting solar systems outside our own. Rarefied atmospheres, alien sequences, and unfamiliar tonal scales. So, I see Pianeti Sintetici as an open-ended design research project where I can explore these inspirations."

"The site remains open. A heavy warmth hangs in the air, humming faintly through the layers. Beneath the familiar grain of stratum TD-6, something shifts - subtle, almost liquid. A trace of heat runs across the timeline, unsettling its order. The sediment stirs; a soft crimson flicker rises, then fades. Perhaps Triana, or something far more ancient. The "Estrato Aurora" evolves, unbroken. The rhythm deepens, folding in on itself. The digger no longer seeks - he listens."

Jaime Romero aka Estrato Aurora (@lovebas) is also the half of Pajaro Dune project (with David Ortolá). He has been an integral part of Valencia's underground music scene. Jaime as a Dj and producer has more than 2 decades in the studio working with analogic machines and a whole kind of stuff. He defines himself as an Atmospheric music worker. His line on the last years has leaded to publish on known labels such as: Alpenglühen, Bliq Rec, Appian Sounds, On Board, Dial Rec. Discos Pandémicos, HC Records or Danza Nativa.

This set was recorded during Pepa's birthday! We’re taking the opportunity here at HOC Radio to wish her a happy birthday. From here, these airs that appear throughout the set, Sevillian and Flamenco, also as a dedication to the entire region.

Kicking off the new year with a fresh, dance-floor-ready episode of the Komorebi Music Festival podcast series is Ironboard, crafting his set under his DJ Goretex alias, straight from Mexico City. 

DJ Goretex dives into the densest layers of his library weaving together dub, dubstep, grime, downtempo and deep rhythms that blur the line between underground ritual and forward-moving club culture. Rooted in the same foundations that define his primary alias Ironbard, DJ Goretex focuses on weight, texture, and negative space-crafting slow-burning, hypnotic journeys where low frequencies shape both movement and atmosphere.

His sets draw heavily from sound system culture, emphasizing physicality and restraint over excess, allowing tension to build through subtle blends.

As a resident of Japan and BPM, DJ Goretex represents the most introspective and uncompromising side of the dancefloor, channeling a stripped-back, experimental approach while maintaining a strong connection to the collective energy of the room. With a vanguard mindset and a deep respect for bass traditions, his project stands as a focused exploration of low-end culture in its most elemental form.
