Take It Easy

Avoid Dave is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/guitarist Taavi Paomets. After years of working with alt-rock band Aides and songwriting for and performing with some of the biggest pop acts in Estonia, one could say that Taavi definitely has an ear for mixing infectious grooves with catchy melodies that stay with you like the one from that new top40 song. After we learned that other than writing arguably some of the best tracks for many Estonian artists, he also has loads of solo material that has this unique sound and is nothing short of amazing in production quality - just collecting digital dust, we quickly agreed to put out his solo EP.

"Erasing Frames EP" is a soul-inspired journey into electronica with infectious grooves, backed by deep harmonies, infused with Dave's vocals. Even though we can't really draw any comparison to other Estonian artist because he doesn't sound like any other artist we know, there is still something very Estonian about his sound. At least, we think so. All five tracks are winners in our opinion and it's seriously hard to single out any of them - it will be up to you to choose your favorite..

Memories

Sounds of September is a band that’s versatile arrangements and sharp consonance sound at least as mind blowing as the falling of autumn leaves. In addition to looking and playing like young gods, they also offer a decent charge of energy to listeners at concerts. Sounds of September is told to be an alternative rock band, but you can hear influences from different styles like pop, classic rock and others in their music. Really powerful female vocal mixed with fully thought-through instrumental parts, exellent use of different sounds, energy and soul,  all put in music together.
