For this month, we are delighted to introduce Rogian, a talented young artist who has consistently demonstrated his skill on the decks at various venues across Switzerland. He is currently an active member of Altrove events and Fishnet collective. 

As you may already be aware, at Altrove, we embrace a diverse range of electronic music genres, not limited to just techno. In this set, Rogian presents a finely crafted fusion of electro and broken beats.

"It was truly a pleasure to be a part of Manuel Onerio's Altrove Podcast project. During this performance, I found myself immersed in the captivating world of electro sounds, driven by a dynamically volatile broken kick drum. Merging this element with classic breakbeats resulted in a fusion of sounds that sent shivers down my spine. In my sets, I often relish the opportunity to explore the depth of the tempo, creating a hauntingly hollow ambiance, while occasionally introducing a straightforward kick drum to shift the vibe.

These solo sets provide me with a canvas to deeply explore my musical thoughts and desires, free from external influences. The outcome often yields intriguing results.

My journey with electronic music started during my high school years while attending an art school. As part of my curriculum, I studied photography and video production. I would craft video montages set to electronic tracks, as my visual style complemented electronic music seamlessly. One day, it dawned on me that I could create the music for my own videos, leading me to explore into music production. I took immense pleasure in drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists. Subsequently, electronic music became an integral part of my life as I joined collectives, performed in various clubs and bars, and dedicated myself to producing a lot of music."
